A few fun facts about these:

- all of them carry feathers with them (magic soaken; can't get wet)
- they need moonlight magic for surviving
- wings are a rare feature which allows them to leave the water
- they love collecting shiny things (mostly jewelry)
- they live together in flocks of 5 to 10
- only sea kings and queens are able to breed
- their feathers are gifts from their goddesses; their color indicates from which one
- their goddesses can grant them special powers; usually come with glowing feathers
- males have tufts; females have horns

- this spezies will be interactive
- you will get the chance to up any regular FSD to a king/queen by participating in games
- those that help during the working state of these will be rewarded with a little something when they go ufa

..help me with the general organisation. Sceduling released adoptions, arranging special adoptions, sceduling games, keeping note of activities, etc.
(Don't worry, you will -not- have to do everything. Everybody will just be assigned one or two tasks.)

...help with running games in the casino and with the arena.

General Helpers
...primarly help with answering questions on the threads, maybe bumping open adoptions, finding affiliates, etc.

What are Feathered Sea Dragons?

Feathered Sea Dragons, or FSD for short, are a kind of dragon which live in the water.
They have a slight resemblence to seahorses which have a dolphin's tailfin and are said to have a strange connection to mermaid tales.
There are many things we still don't know about this species because it has hidden itself well up till now, but we will make sure to inform you about anything we discover.

Where does the 'Feathered' come from? They aren't feathered.

While they don't have feathers growing from their body, they have a very close spiritual connection to feathers.
It seems they have some kind of tribal culture which is connected to this matter, as we have not come upon an adult specimen without at least one feather accessory.

How large can they get?

Adults = Ranging from the size of a false killer whale to a blue whale
Adolecents = Ranging from the size of a common dolphin to a false killer whale
Hatchling = Ranging from the size of a pike to a common dolphin
Eggs = Around the sizes of a marrow

Males are usually larger than females at any age.

What is their diet?

Their diet mostly consists of schools of fish. There can be quite a variety of species though for them to select from. What they will have access to depends on their location. Some of them are quite picky when it comes to which ones they will eat. They will resort to other types of fish though when those they enjoy the most are hard to come by.
They occasionally also feed upon cephalopods and sometimes on hydrophythes.

What colors can they have?

It seems that FSD can come in all colors.
The only thing that seems to stay is that every FSD has a shade of blue somewhere on its body.

What is their mating and breeding behaviour?

While we have seen FSDs who seem to be mates, we have not yet come to a disclosure on their breeding behaviour.
It almost looks as if the specimen we have seen so far are not able to breed.

Do they have special quirks?

It seems that every FSD collects items. For the most part, we have seen all kinds of jewelry being collected, but there are also other items, like shells.

Adoption Rules

• Every second post on the FSD adoption pages is reserved to me for archivial purposes.
  This is neccessary to maintain clean and neat threads.
  
  
• Every user starts out with slots for 6 FSDs.
  More slots will be put out through events, etc.
  
  
• Custom Slots will for now only be availabe through events.
  This might change in the future.
  
  
• Breedings will have to be done on these lines for the time being.
  Nursery lines will be talked about if these get popular enough and if I manage saving up enough to commission someone.
  
  
• All FSD transactions need my permission.
  If you want to put a FSD up for re-adoption or want to gift it, contact me via PM, please.
  
  
• Non-artists will not be added to the adoptions.
  If you want transparent versions, ask the respective artists.
  
  
• Adoptions sometimes will be placed in the shelter.
  This happens if a running FSD adoption does not get enough attention.
