And his fin is stuck in the little net we use to get him out when we're cleaning his tank
Someone please tell me how to get it out easy without hurting/killing him! Quick!!
the link did not work but I am guessing it is a pleco or cory catfish. if it is one of these fish simply pick it up, gently grab the spine hung in the net, and then tug the net off of the spine. the spine is tough and rigid so do not worry about pulling the spin off unless you grab its body and not the spine. if it is not a pleco or cory(or any hard spined catfish) do not do this at all as you will injure the fish.

ok two things, number one is that I want one now, they are super pretty. and number two, the flipper things are the spines. I would try grabbing the net in one hand and the fish in the other and tug are both ends, eventually it should come off. if not rub the spine where it is hung up and try rolling the net off of the spine. if none of this works I would poke a hole in the net and cut the spine free(I don't recommend this though, only as a last resort).

Hey guys, I haven't been on in a while, so here is an update:
First up: Weird disease with brutal deathes!
So, all but one of my baby guppies dies. My water got cloudy and boom, brains coming out of heads, sticking to walls, and twisted spines and stuff. I still don't know what happened.
Rose died. Yup, my most aggressive and largest fish suffocated. R.I.P Rose.
I got two new guppies from my IRL friend .:TrueToHens:.! Fyra and The doctor are both fancy guppies.
Gallifrey is begging, as always. Not much has changed with him except for torn fins.
And finally, Im saving up to move my guppies into a ten gallon tank.
I'll fix this later.
If you're going through a tough time, I want you to know that you can always PM me. Even if you just want to rant to me, I'm here.

Woohoo, exciting news!
Some of you may know that I was planning on getting a betta when I went to college in the fall, but my friend actually got one for me as a graduation present! ♥
Right now he's in a little 1-gallon craptarium, but I'm setting out in a little bit to get and set up a 5.5 gallon aquarium, planted and all! c:
His name is Augustus, and he has a blue body and (mostly) red fins. He's a pretty little thing, and I'm so excited! ♥

Bunch of baby corries.

I know some of those hatched around 17th(and I think one more batch after that as well) and at least one should be older than those... But I have no clue who's from which spawning... ^^'

I think here on the right is the oldest one of the lot. I had originally 1 older and 2 younger, but then the older slipped into the main tank(too small to see, but I think already too big to be eaten) and recently one of the younger big ones died(and lost 2 others as well). So I'm guessing that's the other younger one(or the oldest now should I say) and it should be maybe 3 weeks old now. If that makes any sense. XD

Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...

What do you guys do for betta fin rot?
When I got my guy from my friend, I suspected he had fin rot, but wasn't too sure if it was or not. After watching him for a couple of days and watching it get worse, I know it is. Right now, I have him in the 1-gallon he came in. This morning, I did an 100% water change and added some aquarium salt and stress coat. I'm worried sick about him, since he had gotten worse since last night...and I'm leaving the country day after tomorrow, so my dad'll have to take care of him. What do you think about what I've been doing? Effective? Not? :c
