::Rose Jane Tyler:: 16 :: Complicated :: Mesmer :: Rebel Camp ::"Oh," RJ said a little dumbfounded with his offer. She looked down at her empty bowl waiting down by her feet. "Oh no, no. I don't need any more food. I finished mine and I'm full," she partially lied. She wasn't truly full, because no one in the camp ever was. But she was fully satisfied and didn't feel she needed anymore food. RJ peaked over at her good friend Cas, noticing him looking over. She gave him a small wave and a light smile in greeting. She would have to remember to say hi later.::Ivory Ann Dark:: Nineteen :: Single :: Necromancer (with amnesia) :: Central Mysery"Oh," she said, soaking in the words he spoke. She quickly realized she was going to be of no help. She thought that maybe she should suggest someone else to help him. With a quick look around, she soon realized there was no one else for the boy to ask. "I'm sorry, uh, sir, but I don't think I will be able to help you. I..." She paused. She wasn't sure how to tell him that she simply didn't remember anything. "I don't really know."Just reposting so I don't lose it...
::Ericson Jonathon Lee Jackson: 16 :: Single :: Powerless :: Coffee Shop Jamestown ::
Eric had no idea that his behavior was unusual. He was watched so often by his father, myserians, and more, that he just assumed it was something everyone was used to. He began to wonder why the girl sent him an uncomfortable look. He took a moment to search the newspaper for a interesting article or story. There wasn't much that he didn't know. As king, his father had to be aware of all that happened in the country. Well, accept the small-town stories, which Eric enjoyed. Unfortunately there weren't many in today's paper.

Quinn almost spit her drink out as well, but that was more due to the laughter than the taste. "I like it, it's black and bitter, just like my soul." she joked, taking another sip. "Mind if I have yours then?" she asked, pointing to his cup, which he had shoved across the table in disgust. She didn't normally drink that much coffee, the caffeine messed with her powers and made her jittery, but she supposed an extra cup wouldn't hurt. You didn't get much in the ways of coffee traveling, so it was a nice treat.

Chris couldn't help but to smile at the girl; she had an odd sense of humor and a beautiful laugh. "What's so funny, eh?" He asked in a mocking tone before pushing his coffee closer to her. If she really wanted the foul tasting drink she could have it, no problem. "So, anyway, what are you doing here? I haven't seen you around before." He said, trying to make small-talk. He then wondered how old she was, but he wouldn't ask that now. That's not something you ask when you just meet someone, is it?
"Good Friend" Lmao. I'm going to wait for Trisa's response, Sammich.

Letting out an exasperated sigh Oscar plopped down to the ground and stared into the distance. He mostly just watched the trees but every now and again he would look at RJ to see what she was doing. Occasionally, too, he'd look up at Trisa. "Can you teach me?" He asked in a small voice, as if he were a child waiting to learn something new, but knew he wasn't allowed to.

Just in case.

Xylina bit her lip, looking at the sandwich and the contents of her own bowl. She absolutely adored tomatoes, but she couldn't eat anymore, she should save it for someone else. But the fruit was so tempting. "Can we trade?" She asked in a small voice as she looked up at Murphy with big golden eyes. She noticed his eyes were bright blue a smiled a bit before realizing how rude she must have sounded asking to trade food like that. Looking down again, she mentally face-palmed. Stupid, stupid, stupid, she repeated the words over and over again in her head.

"Stocking up on supplies, getting ready to hit the road again. Can't stay in one place too long, you know?" she said, gulping down the rest of her coffee before starting on the next cup. However, it hadn't quite cooled yet, and she winced a bit as it burned her tongue. "Are you here for any particular reason?" Quinn asked, blinking a few times as her eyes watered from the pain. At least now she looked old enough to be on her own, when she was fourteen or fifteen she nearly got arrested a few times due to the whole 'unaccompanied minor' thing. Then she almost accidentally started a zombie apocalypse, so you could say that encounter with the royal police went badly.

Hey everyone! Sorry I couldn't be on yesterday but tonight I have my kind of graduation ceremony so please forgive me if I'm not on much (This is why there are three owners and not just me lol). On Saturday, I'm going to be busy Saturday too. I have a lesson with my pony in the morning (first time in a month since my concussion yay!), then I have to get ready for my prom, then go to the a graduation party, then go to prom, then go to a friend's house afterwards, stay up late, and then I have work in the morning lol

"Oh," Was all he could think of to say at the moment. He was a little disappointed to find out that she wouldn't be staying long, he could use the travelling companion himself. Or perhaps just anybody in general, they didn't have to travel, but they didn't have to stay. He'd be happy with anyone who was nice to him to simply stick with him in his life. He blinked rapidly to clear the thought away before focusing on Quinn yet again. He noticed her eyes were watering, probably from the hot coffee, he should have warned her. With a shrug he continued on, "I-" he dragged out the vowel, thinking of the right words to say. "I'm just here to play. It makes me happy and sometimes it makes other people happy; that's all that really matters, right?" He asked in a serious tone. He wouldn't mind if she didn't agree, but he simply had to now if he was living life so naïve.

"You mean, you aren't even trying to make money or anything?" she asked, incredulous. "I mean, sure, making people happy is wonderful. But a life of luxury, or at least mild comfort, is pretty good too." she added, trying not to make herself sound like a terrible person. Or, not as bad of a person. Maybe she would just rather live in a big fancy house and be respected then be called an abomination and be chased out of towns. Hell, her own family didn't even want her, and still hurt nine years later. It had been her decision to leave, but their attitude towards her was what pushed her away in the first place.

Looking down, Chris began to remember his own home life. The life he lived with his adopted parents. He didn't even like calling them that; they weren't parents. They didn't treat him or his siblings right, though, even the kids didn't like him. He remembered the time his mom locked him in the closet for coming home with a gift a friend had made for him; a necklace a girl had handcrafted. His "mother" had torn it from his neck and told him if no one else could have it, he couldn't either. Then locked him away for being so selfish. Later, she traded the pieces away for a pair of laces to tie her own shoes.
He looked up into Quinn's blue eyes with a sympathetic stare. "I know how you feel." He said in a tone that made it sound like someone was about to start crying. He took in a deep breath and put on a smile. "I'd love to make money, but it's up to the people to pay me. I have no talents else where that can get me a job." He looked away. "I play, I beg, I live no where." Letting out a snort he looked back to see Quinn's expression. "I am a homeless orphan. And that's the life I choose to live."

"That sounds like a hard way to live, I mean, I left my own home as well but I had somewhere to go." she said, breaking eye contact and staring down at the designs swirling in her coffee. "And now, I travel with other people, so it's like a family to me. We understand each other, and they accept me. It's a good life, or at least better than the one I had before." Although her mind was back-pedaling, telling her to drive the conversation away from where it was headed, she felt like she could understand how Christopher felt, and it made it feel better to talk about it to someone else. She really hoped he wouldn't start crying though, she was an empathetic crier and no matter how much she told herself she was a frigid ice-queen, if you started crying she would sob right along with you, much to her embarrassment.
