I forgot to mention it yesterday, but those spots in Moonthroat's history are both filled now. Her form has been edited accordingly, if anyone wanted to see the changes, though they're slight. As always, my cats are open for any ideas you guys might have about any sorts of relationships, so don't think you've missed your chance if you think of something later.

Questions:

Does Smallfoot know that the mate is Talonstar's descendant when you say 'recognizes the mate'?

What will Moonthroat, Robinpaw, Crowpaw, Brightmoon, and Fawnpaw be doing as part of the prophecy? Befriend the remaining two kits and somehow help the apprentices find the cure for the disease or something? :3

Other than that, I think this is a really cool plot!

The prophecy cats you listed will not be doing either of those things. Instead, they will all have to unite to defeat the 'evil' kits together, using their wide array of abilities. Epic, no? X3

Zmija has the final say on that, but I can't think of any reason why not. So, possibly.

I also have a question about Emberflower's relationship with Moonthroat. Would it perhaps make sense if Emberflower developed a crush on Spiderfang and the two of them ended up having a thing/being mates/having kits? It would be Emberflower's way of getting back at Moonthroat and making her hurt even more. The more drama, the better... Just an idea, let me know!

If you'd like to do that, I wouldn't mind it. It does make sense, like you said. Of course, you might want to consider the age difference between Emberflower and Spiderfang if you're planning on her developing genuine feelings, in case you hadn't thought of that already. Just sayin'. Of course, numbers don't matter much as far as raw feelings go, so it might not matter too much in the end.
As far as the two of them developing more of a relationship, I would personally prefer to leave that up in the air, and just go with the flow as the cats to react to one another. It seems more fun to me, personally, to not know the outcome sometimes, and I get more connected to the characters when I don't have to think of 'excuses' for them to go along with the pre-determined plot. (Don't mind doing it for the sake of plot, but I like to have an area for flexibility too.) For example, a character who would not normally care about others now needs a logical reason to care enough to save the life of someone else. Make sense? I'm sure we've all been in situations like that before. (In this case, it wouldn't be nearly so dramatic. Just an example.) Besides, it allows Spiderfang to be his own entity, and not just an object for Moonthroat and Emberflower to fight over. He would choose how he wants to handle the situation.
Either way, it would drive Moonthroat crazy. (Especially since even if Spiderfang still chose Moonthroat, I doubt that would stop Emberflower from trying to split them up.) No worries there!

In case I didn't make sense, which might have happened because I feel derpy right now, here's a summary of my opinions...
Yes, Emberflower having a crush on Spiderfang, or even just acting like it to spite Moonthroat, sounds fine to me.
No, to the planning for an eventual relationship between Spiderfang and Emberflower.
Yes, let's keep the possibility in mind and just let things develop on their own.

Would that be alright? I'm flexible, of course. Just throwing out my two cents.

@Zmija: Do you have any thoughts on this? Spiderfang is involved, after all. ^^;

I'd love to see Emberflower trying to steal Spiderfang and him getting completely confused, eventually liking her, possibly!

That sounds like a good idea. Would you like a little recap/summary of what's going on now? If so, I'll probably PM it to you, if that's alright.
Talonstar, the Rebel Leader has just sounded the retreat, so the fighting should be stopping now, making it easier for you to jump in. Let me know if you need of ideas as to what to do with your characters. I'm looking forward to role playing with you!
