He perked his ears at the question. "Yes, quite a while. My whole life, really. I know the city top to bottom, being a former police dog." He looked down at the ground, watching the rain slowly drop into the puddles around them.

She turned her head, looking back at Jet. "Oh, I just, kind of got bored of the city. I have gone back to get food, since I can't hunt, but I really can't get any food from the city in the first place. Mainly why I am here. None of the dogs accept me, they just attack. That is, everyone but you." She trailed off, turned her head pack and staring out into the distance. The smell the rain gave made her calm, so she just stood there, her fur soaked.

Rebels soaked tail began to wag a little."Oh wow that's pretty cool!" She said. She moved away from a growing puddle beside her. "What was that? Did you like it?" She asked really curious now. She wondered what that would have been like.

Emma pokes her head out of the cardboard bow. she looks up at the sky, then gets up and out of her box. Looking around she finds what looks to be takeout food that somebody left. She walks over to it and eats a little bit.

He yawned and shook the rain water off his fur. "Oh, you go out and help others. Mostly other owners and animals. It was quite a job, lots of work, and not easy at all. But, in the long run, it payed off." He began to clean his paws. Then, he groomed his fur.

I quickly fell asleep because I was do tired from the days events. As I woke up, I forgot where I was and started looking around. I soon remembered that this was a dry spot I had found with Blade. He was still here, laying next to me, sleeping soundly.

Blade looked over, as he noticed she was sleeping. He flicked his tail, before drifting off.

Jaye

The stray had closed his eyes, but not for long. His paws started to get wet, and his eyes flew open as he realised the alley he was laying in had started to flood. He jumped to his paws, then started to run. He was really confused and frantic, running ahead of him like no tomorrow. Jaye was very vulnerable now, he knew no one, didn't know what to do, or where he was... He was just a confused mutt. The rain had made vision and scent slightly more limited. Suddenly, he banged right into something. He jumped back with a yelp as he realised it was a dog; a larger one than him, and he was in no state to fight if it was angry.

The Belgian malinois sighed gently as she looked up at the sky and focused to the sounds of her surroundings.Finally the fae began to sniff the air wondering if there had been any left over scraps that she could have,but as she smelt once more another scent lingered in the air it was the smell of a male.Melody quickly perked her ears as she had suddenly heard the noises of another dog heading strait towards her,the fae quickly turned around just to see that the dog had been running exactly in line with her she pinned her ears and feeling the brute bang right into her Melody had let out a yelp as she had unexpected that to happen and that it had hurt a little.The Beligian melinois opened up her eyes as she tried to ignore the shock and pain that had just happened,but her main concern was the poor brute that had managed to run into her as she wasn't exactly soft due to her build."Are you okay?" Melody asked softly as she looked at him while her eyes were filled with care and curiosity.

The Nova scotia duck tolling retriever lifted his head up to the stage where he was at his full height.He looked around as the male wasn't sure on what to do with himself today considering the only thing he didn't want to happen was meeting another dog especially a male since he had always been in trouble with them,shaking his head to ignore the thoughts that had through his mind like a maze.Suddenly Duke had heard a noise coming from the area he had been standing in,the Nova scotia duck tolling retriever quickly crawled to the ground and crawled over towards the noise or the dog he should have said.Finally he had seen the fae it was a German Shepherd that had been eating scraps that she had obviously found,he wasn't planing on taking any as he wasn't hungry nor felt like dominance as the male continued to stay low to the ground.Duke finally opened his maw to speak to the fae as it was followed by a brief growl,"who are you?" the brute asked quietly as he looked up at the fae while he kept his ears perked to hear who she had claimed to be.

His amber gaze was stolen by the fae he had stayed here the night with who was now in fact awake and probably wondering what to do about bedding or food. Jerome held a straight face and then offered a small smile "Good morning Cassidy," he responded, then looking out into the forest again, thinking about the other dogs who may or may not have been in the city. He gave a sigh "I'm glad that we came up here when we did," Jerome began in a calm voice "With this rain it must be starting to flood down at the city..."
He turned to Cassidy with a grin on his face again, eyes gentle "I hope you slept well?"

Slowly opening my eyes, light streamed into our little shelter area. I glanced over, but Bladd seemed to still be asleep. I wasn't in the mood to go anywhere, so I decided I would just stay here with Blade.
