Trisa Kallen - age 18 - Rebel Camp - Shifter
"I'm Trisa, resident clothes-mender," Trisa grinned up at him, deciding that he probably would either not notice her being blind, or that he wouldn't care... and if he did, she knew how to deal with the sudden wariness and pity. But she still shifted her hands so their backs were covered by her sleeves. She still didn't know who she could trust in this camp, despite having lived in it for just under three years. "I'm also handy with healing-herbs and such." She paused, wondering if she should ask his name.

A smile brightened the boys face when he saw Quinn smile. He even managed to make her chuckle. Why? Well he had no idea. As long as she was happy, hey, who wouldn't be? "Oh," He stopped thinking about the emotions and thought for a split second. "I live everywhere and nowhere." It was nothing but the truth. He didn't have a home to stay in, but he would sleep wherever strangers and nature allowed him. Trees seemed to be the winner of his bed this week though, most people must be catching word that he is "one of those people." Not that it made a difference considering all he could do was read emotions, but still, it must be slightly weird. "Yepp." He nodded with another small smile. Though, he wasn't quite sure he wanted to try coffee again.

The boy narrowed his eyes at her face, a micro-expression lasting simply a fifth of a second. He could see that she was blind. There was nothing wrong with that he knew, but he wondered if she had tried to fix it before. "Hi Trisa. Did you know-" He cut himself off making hand gestures towards her eyes. Obviously she couldn't see, but that was not computing in his brain this second. "Have you tried getting a healer to fix them?" He wasn't trying to be rude, but he couldn't imagine life without seeing and he was simply curious. Taking a step forward he took her face in his hands and examined her eyes carefully, wondering if she was completely blind or just partially. Not that he could tell the difference, he was no doctor. "They're very nice eyes." Releasing her face, he took a half step back and waited patiently for her responses.

Quinn Leon l 18 l Necromancer l Jamestown
"Well, there's one thing we have in common," Quinn said, finally grabbing the waiters attention and placing her order. "I'm what most people would call a nomad, although I prefer the word traveler." she continued, fiddling with a spoon absentmindedly, taking a glance at their surroundings again, scanning all the faces quickly. It was a bad habit, but helpful for spotting the occasional government official. Something about large towns made her feel anxious, and she decided it was best to return to the caravan after she finished with her current engagement.

Trisa Kallen - age 18 - Rebel Camp - Shifter
Trisa blinked, wondering why he was waving his hands around. Her eyes didn't move, though, as it wasn't her eyes who were picking the movement up. Then, when she felt his hands on either side of his face, she understood. He was curious. Not very many people reacted that way, she pondered, and it was always a nice surprise. But the final few comments were what really made him stand out, especially the last one. "Thank you," she replied, a little nervous at the compliment. But she knew how to answer the first question. "I was born blind, and that makes it harder to heal. It supposedly gets even harder, the longer you wait, and my family didn't have the money to pay for anything like that." Trisa's voice wasn't at all emotional, she was simply stating what facts there were.

Hey guys! I just wanted to say I'm working on my posts and what not. Again, sorry for not being on as much as most people would like. It's my last four days of school, I have graduation, 2 senior breakfasts, graduation practices, etc., and of course work. So yeah haha.

Oh and I'm sorry for getting Trisa's name wrong. Woopsie lol
::Rose Jane Tyler:: 16 :: Complicated :: Mesmer :: Rebel Camp ::RJ stuck out her hand to the girl. "I'm RJ," she said. She didn't mean to but the words came out muffled due to the breakfast that she hadn't quite swallowed. "Sorry," she said, finally chewing and swallowing. Obviously, manners weren't something she was good at. She sat her own serving dish beside her. Hopefully, the girl would introduce herself. RJ felt bad since the girl knew her name while RJ didn't know hers.::Ericson Jonathon Lee Jackson: 16 :: Single :: Powerless :: Coffee Shop Central Mysery ::Eric had no idea that his behavior was unusual. He was watched so often by his father, myserians, and more, that he just assumed it was something everyone was used to. He began to wonder why the girl sent him an uncomfortable look. He took a moment to search the newspaper for a interesting article or story. There wasn't much that he didn't know. As king, his father had to be aware of all that happened in the country. Well, accept the small-town stories, which Eric enjoyed. Unfortunately there weren't many in today's paper.Just reposting so I don't lose it...
::Ivory Ann Dark:: Nineteen :: Single :: Necromancer (with amnesia) :: In Jamestown
Ivory stretched with a yawn. As she looked around, she remembered where she was. She had found sixty bucks in her pocket, enough to pay for a week's stay at the tavern and a change of clothes. It beat sleeping on a park bench. She walked into the bathroom, where her change of clothes waiting. She changed into the new change of clothes. She filled the sink with warm water a dropped her dirty clothes into it. She would come back later to hang them on the shower rack to dry. After grabbing the keys to the room and a coat, she headed out to the library in hopes that she may find something to clue her in about her past.

Chris let out a soft chuckle as she explained her traveler living conditions. He watched as she twiddled with a spoon and looked around anxiously. He looked behind him to see if there was anything weird behind him, but there was nothing there. "Are you alright?" He asked with honest concern. "You seem a bit twitchy. Tell me about it." He probed his elbows on the table and placed his chin in his hands, raising his eyebrows as he awaited her response.

"Oh," Oscar responded simply. He looked away for a moment, staring into the trees. He noticed all the different colors and how each color had many different shades and shadows. He turned back to the girl with another question. "Do you think if you could see, you'd want to?" It was just another genuinely curious question. Still, he didn't take into account the feelings of the girl considering he hardly knows what they are. Feelings and emotions just aren't his forte. Actually, there isn't a single thing that he excels in, besides maybe killing things, but that doesn't count. He doesn't like doing that.

The girl nodded, a few strands of hair that had come loose from her braid falling into her face. She watched the soldier for a few moments in awkward silence until realizing she should probably introduce herself. "Oh," she let out a nervous chuckle. "I'm Xylina." She smiled at the sound of her own name, she hadn't said it in a while and it felt good hearing it again. She looked down at her food and prodded it with a finger, she wasn't really all that hungry anymore. Or, perhaps, that was just her brain telling her to give it to someone who needed it more.
So many posts xD

Trisa Kallen - age 18 - Rebel Camp - Shifter
Trisa frowned, thoughtful. "I don't know," she began after a moment of silence, "What's seeing like?" She remembered the first time she had asked this, it was a year or so before her eleventh birthday. The person had stumbled about, trying to answer her, but it took only a few minutes until, flustered, the person had stood up and left, leaving Trisa thoroughly confused.

"It's normal," the tall boy replied instantly. "Everything is color. It's like..." He frowned for a second before picking a blade of grass from the ground and putting it in the girls hand. "It's like feeling the grass. You know what it is just by feeling it. Seeing is knowing what it is, but with your eyes instead." He looked up at her eyes and tilted his head to the side. "The grass is green. It doesn't feel as warm as something like a tomato, or as cold as something like jeans. It's somewhere in between..." He trailed off, unsure if he was saying the right things or if he should have said anything at all.
That was difficult. xD
