Frostpaw slowly woke, seeing Lynxpaw in the same position as before. "Aren't you tired?" she asked. Her wounds have dried up, but they all still stung. She began to lick some of his wounds, her tongue no longer bleeding. "You should rest a little bit, I did wake you up before" she said with a giggle.

"I'm not tired." He lied. Lynxpaw smiled down at her and yawned, stretching out his front paws. "I'm perfectly fine."

Frostpaw rolled her eyes, with a sarcastic smile. "Are you sure? You seem to be more sleepy than the elders" she said, placing her paw on his back as she tried to push him down.

"Well it seems like you feel better." He teased. He pawed at her ears and smiled, he was extremely sleepy but he tried not to show it.

"I do feel better, now go to sleep" she said softly, curling up in a ball. He wrapped her tail around herself and laid it over her nose. She peer at Lynxpaw, "Ahh, this sure feels comfy. I feel sooo tired" she said with a slight smile.

"Ha ha very funny." He teased. He licked Frostpaw on the nose. "Fine, I'll go to sleep." He replied with a quick smile. He walked into the apprentice den and curled up into a nest.

Frostpaw smiled with satisfaction and relaxed once more. She gazed up at the stars and simply thought. Then a sentence said from Lynxpaw earlier probed her mind. 'I would rather die with Frostpaw, then live without her' Frostpaw smiled and let out a purr. He closed her eyes and drifted off into sleep once more...

A few hours later he awoke. He stood up and stretched out his back and front legs. He yawned and padded out of the apprentice den. He looked over at Frostpaw sleeping and smiled. He sat down in the corner of camp and groomed his wounds.
