How do you people feel werewolf role-plays should be handled? I've seen a lot of argument, surprisingly, about it. (Like, female werewolves shouldn't exist, a pack should be only male, etc etc)
People say that stuff? No way! I mean, I like Hemlock Grove's idea that werewolves aren't pack creatures like normal wolves. They are more solitary. But aside from that, why should a pack be male only?

People do indeed. It's mostly a type of "Werewolves should only be males and humans should only be females because that's totally how it works" kind of thing, or just a kind of sexist deal, I suppose. I don't really know the reasoning behind it other than trying to make a romance based plot (which I'm not quite sure how that works in a werewolf role-play, but to each their own). Hmm, I've never heard of that idea before! It's quite interesting, now that I think about it, ha.
To keep a conversation going, how does everyone feel about role-plays based of tv shows, movies, books, etc?

It really does sound quite sexist. Maybe it is based on some sort of fandom or tv trope? If that's the way they want to write it, they're welcome to do so, but I probably wouldn't join it on principle.
Yes! Solitary werewolves would make each interaction between them tense and unique, rather than falling into a hierarchy, or instant friends because they are all one pack. I may need a 1 x 1 like this now.

I sort of have my own werewolf 'rules' written up, 2 different sort of packs, that can be used in and tweaked for multiple things that I just use repeatedly because it's easy, but I'm always open for more ideas or different things. I really just like pack dynamics and the idea of them though, and applied to humans for some reason. Them being solitary creatures does differ from the norm to make something interesting, but at the same time I think is still lean towards packs/whatnot in all honesty

I usually like the idea or paired werewolves.
One is dominant, can be male or female, just like there relationship can be of any kind, straight, non-straight or trio. The dominant one protects the other/s against lone wolves seeking a mate, or other pairs who will see them as a threat for food/territory.
Having serious issues viewing dark colours at the moment. May delay replys to pms. Sorry.
The Leopard Pups
Grey, Black and White. The world revolves and we go with it. Twisting in this everlasting monotony, eyes of green and gold, watching and waiting for our chance, our time. Cytor, Liliana, Serenade, Bayonet, the Prankster, the sweet one, the mother and the lost soul. There birth was a lost event, one in a million, two wandering souls met in the shadows, and these four were created. There pups are the stuff of legend, one lost there sight, one lost there path, one lost there love and the other? The other lost his family, everyone they cared about. He lost his family.

Now that sounds pretty unique. D/s territory really

Pack structures can be interesting when applied to humanoids/werewolves, but mostly it seems that everyone pairs off or that the structure becomes disjointed somehow in my rps. So it ends up being more like a loose friendship, even when alphas are involved.

I kinda had this idea xD
that is still kinda forming in my head,
which is a nonsensical way of saying, I need some help developing it. :o
I make it a point to make myself look like an idiot regularly on this thread huh?
anyways. There's this group of people, I'm sure they have some sort of special properties, and they're named 'generation alphabetical letter here' depending on their level of skill.
Generation 'A' was found. or made first. (depending on their history, whether their powers are genetic/given) And typically as each generation goes the stronger and the more adapted they become. (Think of it as sort of the first computer, you know the one that took up 1,800 sq ft? Now compare that to a laptop)
Reason being it's called 'generation A' is because that these properties are passed genetically from the original users to his/her descendants. (it's an unpredictable thing, some kids may have it some may not) and they too, can be called 'generation A'.
So the plot focuses on a few members of these generations, and each generation kinda has some sort of facts about it, for example generation A is the oldest so the weakest of the generations, you know what I'm talkin' about.
I just need a plot, and little bit more development on this idea. Any suggestions on what direction to take for this?
