So I decided to pick up Hamatora after seeing the name around for a while. It's pretty good, though I think it's funny that they decided to throw in a short speech in German in the forth episode. More proof that the Japanese have some sort of secret obsession with German things. XD

*According to TV Tropes*, in one episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion, someone is having a phone conversation in German in the background. There's also Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa, that actually takes place in Germany. X3

Speaking of TV Tropes... the Dethroning Moment subpage for FMA is terrifying... I haven't read it for weeks and I still remember parts of it... ;-;

And then there's Attack on Titan, where the main protagonist has a German surname and the opening song apparently has a few lines in German...

I solemnly swear that half of the FMA fans on TTAmY only like it because of me. X3 I also posted an image of Al in the final episode of Brotherhood without labeling it as a spoiler. T_T

By the way, I've been reading this really good FMA fanfic recently. Don't let the fact that it's a self-insert put you off - for one, it's not some generic "OC joins the main protagonists and saves the world but other than the OC existing it's exactly the same as the original story" thing. The self-insert person already knows the character's fates, which is an interesting idea.
