my user name is brothers of asgard. i definitely plan on changing it when i can be bothered to actually make a signature to go along with it. so don't expect this username to stick too long. because of my habit to change names, i decided that i would prefer to be called my my nicknames which are chesh and josephine. cheshire was a previous username that i kept for a long period of time. during that era i was en extremely active role player so by the time i changed names, everyone knew me as cheshire. and i like josephine simply because it is my name.
i have decided to call this beauty pestilence. pestilence is the name of one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. alongside death, famine and war, pestilence was supposed to bring the end of the world upon earth. the word itself means a fatal plague that spreads and kills whoever comes in contact with it. so i guess that suits him quite well.
when you first see pestilence, he obviously looks like quite the masculine hyena so if someone were to suggest he is a female, he would be quite offended. so quite clearly, he is a brute. other terms for it would be the casual term as dude, the formal term of male and the human term of man. he prefers to be called a male though the canine term is brute. either way, he doesn't mind too much as long as he isn't mistaken as a female.
pestilence's age is the equivalent of twenty one in canine years. he is unsure how old that is in human years since that isn't really where his knowledge extends to. pestilence isn't all that old nor young. he is quite experienced in what he does and he still has the power of youth to do what he wishes.
this handsome creature is a mana geared hyena. im sure you all know that. pestilence's element is air. he uses it for his experiments which you will hear about later in this form.

pestilence was an inventor. well to make it stereo -typical, he was a mad scientist. he finds amusement in the experimenting of others, especially himself. his greatest invention was himself. yes, half of pestilence's looks is due to his own experimenting. his acidosis cloud of a tail is the product of pestilence's invention. he has a vast knowledge in poisons and after mastering such facts, pestilence was able to create a sort of air poisoning and used his abilities to make it surround him. eventually, he adapted to the clouds and was immune. however, pestilence didn't stop there.
he experimented further, learning to consume it until his tongue glowed the bright green of the poison he had created. a single lick could give another hyena burning scald. soon, it became part of him. the poison infected his mane, giving the hair on his mane glands that gave off the poison. that would explain how his main is now a mass of vibrant venomous gas. it even affected his mana gear so instead of his glowing green earth mana, it became the poisonous cloud it is now. pestilence was able to manipulate normal air as well as the poisonous air that he had created.
unfortunately, the consumption of this poison began to affect the sides of his mouth. the flesh became black and his teeth decayed. so in the end, pestilence gave himself his mask. again, he experimented on himself so that the jaw of the skull worked like his own jaw which was now useless. he now uses the teeth of the mask to chew. pestience can still talk perfectly though sometimes there is a flick in his pronunciation of the T and sometimes a linger in the S due to his tongue.
pestilence's normal appearance before his mask and clouds of acid was still rather unique. he has a pure white coat that becomes a smoky grey near his paws and he also has the wings of a bat that are also a smoky grey. when pestilence's face was not hidden away, his muzzle also darkened. he hosts very beautiful markings they vary from grey to white. along with this, he has very unique ears that are larger and have a ripple position. he has very little control over them. pestilence has very thin bracelets and earrings made out of thread that are attached to small white runes. this accessory also adorns his wings and are attached to his mask. pestilence's eyes used to once be an electric acid green but now they would have dulled. it is impossible to know since pestilence is never seen without his mask.

pestilence has quite a few strengths though they are easily evened by his flaws. first of all, pestilence is a very smart and intelligent. he is good at processing thoughts and can understand and comprehend what others say quite quickly. he is also quite strategic and can usually pull of his plans quite well. along with his quick mind, pestilence is a generally fast hyena. he has good hand-eye coordination and is very swift of his paws.
because of how pestilence looks, he is quite the intimidating mgh. his brute strength is one to be reckoned with and not many other hyena's will take him on due to this. even if another hyena's strength was equal to his, pestilence's clouds of venom that waft around him will surely poison anyone who gets too close.
this boy's flaws includes his large and ever growing ego. pestilence likes to act as though he's too superior for anyone else. in his mind, he is a king. no one is better than him. he secretly likes flattery and using that he can be convinced to do minor favours. however, he is not stupid and doesn't let his vanity get to him. since pestilence constantly has poison within him, sometimes he may exhaust himself so it is vital that he always gets his eight hours sleep ( he needs his beauty sleep xDD ) pestilence can also be quite paranoid. since he is so thorough with his thought processing , pestilence sometimes over thinks and totally blows the situation out of proportion. this causes him to panic and become quite paranoid.
pestilence's general personality is quite unique. he is a humorous guy and likes to cheer others up by making them laugh and smile however, if you make him angry or he's not a fan of you, he switches this to the negative emotion of being blunt. pestilence will point out everything bad about you and generally lower your self esteem. this makes him quite insensitive so sometimes when pestilence if being innocently oblivious, he might hurt his companion's feelings. and since he has a big ego and is quite cocky, he probably won't apologize.
he is also quite the curious cat. if pestilence was left alone with a box and not to open it, he would almost immediately open it. pestilence fears the unknown and is also very eager to know about the unknown. despite being so good at disobeying orders, pestilence is good at giving them out. he is a good leader who is generous and aware of the health of his companions. sometimes, pestilence fears he is so venomous that he should not be around others but deep down, he likes company and loves to be comforted.

pestilence's relationships are pretty much non-existent. yep, he has never had en experience. before he experimented on himself, pestilence was very handsome. he was muscled, curious and someone to always make his friends laugh. but then his curiosity got the best of him and he became crazed with dissection and the desire to extend his powers. it was around that time that pestilence had created the poison which does not affect him but does others. his previous friends found out and reported him. pestilence then faced trial on whether his gem should be blackened. after a lot of discussing and pleading, the trial was closed with the fact that pestilence was simply terribly ill. by this time, his experiments had been finished. his mane was a storm of poison gas and his jaw was hidden away by his mask. pestilence spent many months in rehabilitation so when he came out, he had to start everything anew only this time all his friends had found partners and he was a freak.
so pretty much, pestilence had never had a relationship because no one is willing to accept him as he is now. turns out, his jaw is slowly reforming, his teeth having evolved to accept the poisoned air that lives within him. but even when his face is normal, pestilence doubts he will ever remove his mask. this is his punishment for taking things too far.
