Fangy ( cx ) looked down to his mate, nuzzling his face into her fur. As she played with his ears, he chuckled, smilig as he had been for the entire day. A sharp pain stung in his back, but he didn't mind. Though, what he didn't know was, from his fight earlier, he got a large scratch down his back.

Fawnleap smiled and batted playfully at him again as he nuzzled her. She purred and leaned up slightly and licked his chin before laying on her back again. She looked up into her mate's eyes and smiled softly.

Briarcloud saw that Dawnfeather, her mate, and her new kit were content. She decided to take a nap and let them have some time alone.

Dawnfeather noticed Briarcloud sleeping. "Quiet, Briarcloud is sleeping." She whispered to her mate.

He looked at the sleeping queen and laughed a little. "You must be tired as well. Would you like me to leave so you can sleep?"

Shadedfang cracked a smile, pawing at her ear, then chuckling gently. He had a beautiful mate. He just couldn't believe it. As she licked his chin, he could swear his heart skipped a beat. He nuzzled her again, then lay down beside her, yawning gently. It was a long day for the black tom.


They are like the couple that is so in love with each other it sickens you. XD ;

Fawnleap smiled and purred as he nuzzled her and batted at his ear before he laid down. She rolled onto her side and laid against him, pressing herself into his pelt with her nose in his fur. She purred softly as she closed her eyes slightly.

Dawnfeather purred. "Never." Dawnfeather nuzzled Mudstorm. She stroked Swankit's head as she slept.

The black tom sat his head down and closed his green eyes, exhausted.

Fawnleap laid her head on her paws and closed his eyes as she slept softly and curved her tail up her side. She closed her eyes and leaned slightly against Shadedfang as she started to doze off happily.

Shadedfang dozed into a light sleep, though, just as every night, his past haunted him. His ears pinned back, and he cringed as he watched the fire ruin his home over.. and over.. and over.. It never got easier for the poor Tom. Even after seeing the same thing every night. He finally woke with a jolt after about an hour, looking to the ground in realization. He sighed gently, putting his head back down as he watched cats around him walk in and out of dens.
