Heartstar smiles at her Clan. "I am taking Flowerdust, Tigerfang, Ashfire, Tinypaw, Hazelpaw, and Scorchpaw. Everyone else is staying behind to guard the camp. Duskheart, you are in charge of camp until we come back."

Ashfire scanned the clearing for Littlepaw once the Dawnclan patrol was in the gathering place, they were supposed to mingle with the moonclan cats so he was glad he wouldn't look werid searching the little apprentice.


Littlepaw wasn't even paying attentiont to the Dawnclan cats she was too worried about crossing back over the bridge at the end of the night.

Crowstar padded into the Gathering place and took his spot and allowed the clans to talk and mingle. "How are you, Heartstar?"


Sparrowtail panted as she headed into the Gathering. This would be her last Gathering before her kits were born. The queen sat down, resting.


Tigerfang smiled, and looked around for someone to talk to.

Hazelpaw slipped through the crowds, hoping to see an apprentice somewhere.

Heartstar nods. "Very well Crowstar!" she said. "How about you?"

Littlepaw saw Tigerfang when she finally looked around the clearing and started walking towards him; pushing away the horrible thoughts of falling and drowning was easier than she thought. "Hey there." She piped up when she was close enough for him to hear.


Ashfire saw Littlepaw walking towards Tigerfang and was a little hurt that it wasn't him that she was talking to but it didn't matter he could talk to anyone as well. Seeing Sparrowtail he walked towards her, "Hy there, when are you due?" He asked the queen looking at her stomach.

Crowstar smiled,"Very good." The tom had trouble looking up at her. He looked up at the trees instead. "Its almost leafbare." He meowed, seeing the trees were beginning to turn orange. "Did the twolegs cause much trouble this year?" He asked.

Tigerfang smiled, glad to see someone he knew. "Hi, Littlepaw!" He touched his nose to her ear in greeting. "What's up?"

Sparrowtail looked up. "Oh hi!" She purred. "In about a moon, maybe less. This is my last gathering before they'll be born." Her eyes shined as she talked about her kits, showing she really was excited.
