DAKOTA'S WILDFIRE
Wildfire started to trot faster, and eventually shift into a canter. As she circled the ring, she neared the jumps, but just passed them. She wasn't fully warmed up, yet.. Wildfire circled the ring once more...

Tess patted the horse, cantering easily. After the one round, she aimed for the first low jump out of the two jumps. She positioned for the jump, but not telling her to jump yet.

DAKOTA'S WILDFIRE
She responded quickly, not getting the cue to jump. She waited for the cue to jump, staring straight at it. Wildfire stood patiently, waiting to jump. She was ready.

Tess looked down at Fire, backing her up and getting her into a lope and when close enough, she gave the signal to jump.

DAKOTA'S WILDFIRE
She was backed up, and kicked into a lope. She jumped at the signal, clearing the jump perfectly. All of the jumps set up, she cleared, amazingly. Her back hooves hit the water on the last water jump.. Wildfire calmly galloped on. You could easily tell she had jumped before.

Wildfire felt Tess pet her. Her ears relaxed, shaking her mane to get her forelock out of her eyes. She dug at the ground, impatiently.

"We will work up girl. Your stamina and strength needs to be fully regained before doing anymore challenging jumps. I know these seem easy, but just trust me girl." Tess could tell by the giddy way she walked that she wanted to do something more challenging.

DAKOTA'S WILDFIRE
She nickered quietly. She did want to do more challenging jumps.. Also, she wanted to barrel race again.. When she began training they would leave her in the arena after each lesson to view the new objects.. She snorted, looking at all the horses at the gate..

Tess patted her neck, already feeling the sweat running down the mare's neck. "See what I mean?" She rubbed the sticky hand on her pants.
