The Niimíipu Native Americans of the American Northwest, known to most of the world by the term Nez Perce thanks to French fur trappers and traders, are a fascinating group of people who gave the world of horse lovers a wonderful gift: the Appaloosa! Though other tribes had appaloosas, the Niimíipu horses are considered the oldest stock of the Appaloosa breed. The Nez Perce horse was specially bred by crossing Appaloosas with another breed.... To take home this mare, fill out the form, answer the questions, and draw SOMETHING related to her. It can be her, it can be a headshot, it can be her tack, whatever you wish!
(Irony, this is my first female special adopt. XD)

Describe a part of basic life for the Niimíipu: "The Nez Perce Indians gathered many roots for winter such as the camas bulb, bitterroot, khouse, and wild carrot and potato. They also collected gooseberries, blackberries, elderberries, and wild strawberries as well as pine nuts and sunflower seeds. They were hunters, often-hunting elk, moose, bear, mountain sheep, and goats. Clothing wise the Nez Perce Indian men wore fringed buckskin shirts with leggings, and moccasins. They occasionally wore gloves and a feathered bonnet. Women wore long dresses made of buckskin, cornhusk hats, and moccasins. The dresses were often decorated with elk teeth, beads, and dyes." - Info found here

Oops! Updated with color/height/etc.! Also, you may try out for multiple adopts of mine that are open. And, the drawing can be something related to her breed/home tribe.
Oh, and I posted a tackless version if you guys need it for drawing!
She is a ceremonial horse used for special demonstrations, so she is a modern-day horse.
This will end of the 4th of June.

Drawing:
this life is so simple yet so complicated...
that it makes people want to leave this earth.
with their bodies as our only remainder and our
memories a broken mirror of the past.
i know you don't remember... but this,
this place, this riverbank, this broken memory.
this is one of the pieces of you that you miss.
this is my broken bliss.
your name is etched into me.
i am your walking tribute.
a walking scrapbook if you please,
filled with broken memories.
i will always be,
remembering you.
