She shook her head, "no" She said to him, "You weren't wrong. I can't take care of myself. I nearly got the kit's killed, it took me some time to find food, they nearly starved, and now I have an injury" Her ears when back in shame, and she sat down, hunching her back as she looked at him. "I never wanted you to leave me... I..I love you too much" She said, paws ripping the grass.

Nix nodded "you're welcome." she made no move to follow and just turned around walking in the other direction. She laid down in some shade her eyes scanning the area. She closed her eyes tired, but she opened them and looked at the tree behind her It's probably safer up there. She sat up her claws unsheathed and she jumped clawing her way up the tree to the third branch. She laid down her tail hanging down off the branch.

Pride nuzzled Echo and sat down. "I love you too" he mewed. "I would never leave you. Remember the promise I made?" He asked. "Now lets get some herbs for your leg. It looks infected.
he frowned.

Echo nodded, smiling, "Yes" she said, her heart soaring with affection. She had longed for that feeling ever since pride left. She shrugged, nodding, "Ok, that would be good" she licked the wound gently.

Pride stood confidently and powerfully, ready to defend Echo from any potential danger. "I'm no medicine cat, but I do no some herbs...I do wish we had a med cat with us." He was about to walk to the forest, when he realized he didn't know what to do with the kits. "What should we do with the kits?" he whispered. "Should we take them with us? They've had enough excitement for one day.."
