Name: Twistedpaw (Twistedfoot)
Gender: She-Cat
Clan: undecided
Rank: Apprentice
Personality/Skills: Twistedpaw is a very kind cat, whose agility was amazing for a cat so young. Unfortunately, on her second outing, a horrible monster accident left Twistedpaw with a permenant shoulder injury. Later, she asked her leader to change her name, and said she would wear her scars with pride. She's quite shy, but once you get to know her, she's bubbly and adventurous, and doesn't let her paw hold her back.
Important Notes: Previously Leapkit, got a name change as an apprentice

Name Rating: 10/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Renamed cat?! In my thread?! This is too good to be true.
This name works perfectly for her, and she did give her consent, so there's no issues here!
Alternative Name: None.

Character Rating: 10/10
Character Reasoning: Again, no real problems (her previous name's a little weird, but we're focusing on the present here). Well done to you; a renamed cat who has no real problems, character wise. Marvelous.

This is a character that I used on another site that I no longer go on. I hope that's OK. I just found this thread and was interested to know about a character that I used to enjoy using.

Image/Description: Completely black with short fur. She has a deformed ear that she can't hear very well with. She has medium green eyes.
Name: EbonyEars (I might want to change the suffix but I still can't think of anything)
Gender: She-cat
Clan: Windclan
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: Born with a deformed ear she was teased a lot by the other kits in the nursery for not being able to hear very well. She was always very quiet as a kit and was the only kit in her litter, so she didn't have many friends and preferred to be alone. However she knew that whether she wanted to be nice to the other kits or not she knew that it would probably be best. As she grew older and became an apprentice she grew more and more quiet, only speaking when spoken to. She also stopped being quite as friendly as before, but was never really mean to the other cats either. She made one good friend who helped her to become more social. Although she is loyal to her clan she couldn't say that she would die for them and is willing to break the warrior code if she ever needs to. She is quite fast and is a good hunter.
Important Notes: I made her a couple years ago before I knew too much about making characters, so she might not be too good. I have changed a bit her since the first time I created her but I still don't really know much about character creating.

Sure thing! Let's see what we got.

Name Rating: 4/10
Name Type: Creative
Name Reasoning: You know, I've got a black cat with green eyes and a deformed ear (long-haired, but still). She's also not very social and only wants to hang out with one person (me). Huh.
Anyways!
Ebony-'s been discussed on here before, I think, but I think it bears repeating, since it's been a while. The term for the color comes from the tree bearing that particular black wood, which grows in tropical areas only. The cats (who reside in England) would have no idea what ebony wood is, and so would not have the phrase "ebony-colored" in their dictionary.
Her suffix seems a little mean. She's clearly very sensitive about it and has been teased for it before, so why would the leader decide to mention it in her name? They would have the entire Clan glaring them down for something like that. Besides that, she doesn't have very good hearing, so it would be pointless to give her -ear as a suffix (and even if her name was alluding to a damaged ear, kittens usually don't get these sort of names at birth - they need to consent to having a name like that).
She's a fast cat, though, so she could easily be named for that.
Alternative Name: Sedgefoot/Nightfoot. Both prefixes allude to a black cat, and -foot indicates her running skills.

Character Rating: 10/10
Character Reasoning: Personality-wise, there's nothing wrong with her. I can see her deciding to avoid others and play by herself, even if the adults took care to make sure that she was never bugged about her ear again, and being somewhat distant from others from then on. Overall, she's a pretty good cat - the only issue is her name, which was covered above. If this was one of your first characters, she's a great start!

Thanks! (: I'm never really good at coming up with names. Thank you for the advice.

Here's an updated version of "Mettalicheart."

Image/Description: A silver tabby with bright green eyes.
      Name: Silverstorm
      Gender: Female
      Clan: LightningClan
      Rank: Deputy
Personality/Skills: Silversstorm has a sharp tongue and quick claws. She is an unbelievably short tempered cat, but is a great addition due to her short, sharp, and quick claws.
Important Notes: Her old name was Mettalicheart, from my first review on here. I believe she has improved, I hope.

Image/Description: Silver tabby
Name: Undecided (need help)
Gender: Female
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Young warrior
Personality/Skills: Very fast runner, even for WindClan standards. She's a friendly and polite cat, but not particularly outgoing. Very intelligent as well.
Important Notes: I based this cat off myself. I really love the character, but I can't think of a suitable name. I was wondering if you could help me. I'm thinking of something traditional, and maybe referring to her color or swiftness.

Oh, dang, I remember her. Man, seems like ages ago. Anyway, let's see how she is now!

Name Rating: 8/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Looking back now, I had a severe misunderstanding of what the -storm suffix entailed, and I apologize for that. The fact that the name doesn't fit perfectly is a mistake on my part, not yours.
Silver- fits her just fine, though with my new knowledge of how -storm works, a short temper isn't quite something to be named for. She does sound like someone who's a fantastic fighter, though, so we can name her for her skill instead.
Alternative Name: Silverclaw, for the reasons above.

Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: Overall, there isn't much wrong with her, but there also isn't much to her. Allow me to offer a few suggestions in case this is really all there is to the character and not just you quickly summarizing.
An easily angered, snippy cat who can back herself up in a fight is a good base for a complicated character. Maybe she's someone who gets angry at others and insults them, but has a point - she'll never say "you're a stupid fighter", she'll say "your recklessness in battle is putting us and yourself in danger, how can you be so dumb?" Her anger is directed rightfully at something that could be a big problem in the future, but her inability to be patient and gentle with critiques makes her come off as a lot meaner than she means to be.
She could be someone who thinks that she needs to prove herself to others and overworks herself, leaving no time for possible friends or a family. She might be overly dedicated to the Clan, and alienates others with her anger and rule-stickling. Or, perhaps, she has a deep, deep loathing for the other Clans because of some things they did wrong and she's completely unable to let go of a grudge, leaving her a resentful and stubborn cat with no strong connections to anyone.
I dunno. I got carried away, but you get my point.
