Cleo had to take a moment for what Blood had said to sink in. She never knew, and now, she doesn't even have the chance to ever see him again. She was choking back her own sobs, not allowing herself to cry in front of her warriors.
"It's a shame sis, he was a mighty fine looking cat. You've done lost another one, I think you broke the record," False chirped, not taking her eyes of Blaze, who she was currently checking up, "And Blood, I like your attitude. You wouldn't have said that to me if you knew who I was, but you've got spunk kid, I like that," she grinned, showing off her pointed teeth.
Cleopatra stood there not even hearing her sister's snide comments,
And this time, she was sure,
That every cat in that cave,
Could hear her heart break,
Yet again.

Scar sighed, and sat down. Noticing that ONCE AGAIN, Cleo would now be denying to be mates with Scar.

Blood dipped his head.


Shatter was amazed. That cat stood up to False easily! Surely this new training wouldn't be hard for him at all! Shatter stared at Blood, wishing she could have his courage. She glanced at Nightmare. When would she tell him their kits were on the way?

Nightmare glanced back at Shatter. "What?" He mewed in a whisper.

Shatter flattened her ears. "L-later..." She whispered back. "I'll tell you after this." She sat, straight in her spot, not wanting False to claw her ears off.

"Yes, your right False. It is a shame he died," Cleo said, her face blank and her eyes emotionless, "You are welcome to stay here, Blood," she told the newcomer, going to sit over by the wall and observe her sister. She looked at Scar, and motioned for him to stand beside Blaze, so that he was next in line for a check-up.
"Now Blood dear, tell us what happens to the kits after their born up until they become full-fledged members?" False asked politely, nudging Shatter's stomach with her nose, noticing the barely visible bump, and the faint, but distinct smell of kits emanating from her. She didn't say a word, and just moved right on past Shatter, to the next cat in line.

Nightmare dropped his eyes, and his stomach churned.

Scar hopped beside Blaze.

"They started by attacking wild animals by theirselves. Their parents had to watch them, die or thrive, and they could have no help. If they succeeded in killing the animal, they trained with a strong member, then soon, once the mentor thought they were ready, they were announced full members. The kits that died, well their corpses were just left there to rot, no burial or anything." He mewed to False.


Shatter flinched. "Oh why... She knows... And that's whats going to happen to them!" She thought, feeling as if claws had pierced her heart.

"And that's exactly how we will go through with it! You know, if anyone happens to be expecting," False added that last part with a smirk, keeping her eyes on Blood, knowing Shatter was aware of who she was talking to.
