The cats hissed angrily at Shadepaw, Aquastar nodding lightly to Nightbreeze. He chased after the apprentice, poor Shadepaw running for his life. He was tackled at the WindClan border, bitten and clawed until he slowly bled to death. The deputy returned to camp, sure the clan was right about the killer.

The killer slunk into the nursery early the next morning, glancing at all the kits. One of them, Petalkit, was sleeping away from the other kits. The cat slunk towed her, sheathing it's claws just inches away from the sleeping kit. The kit was lying on its back, paws tucked underneath her soft, white underbelly. Noticing the chance, the cat sprang on top of the kit, willing her with a sharp nip to the neck, watching as the bright scarlet blood slowly stained her fur. Starkit awoke to the feel of something warm puddling beneath her, the killer ending the young kit's life with a swipe to her throat and belly before she could cry for help. The murderer arranged the two corpses to look as though they were playing, sneering before racing out of the nursery.

Seems your killer has a sick sense of humor. You've exiled an innocent cat and lost two kits. It's too bad, Petalkit would've been a very capable warrior. Maybe she could've saved someone's life...

Aquastar:walked into the nursery to check on the kits to see how they where doing after the exile of shadepaw and to her dismay she seen the two kits placed as if they where playing but, she could smell and see the blood. Her legs started to shake before she yowled saying "we exiled the wrong cat!" She ran over to the kits tears dropping from her face as she picked up there tiny bodys carrying them to the center of camp. After she set them down she sat down by them her sholders slumped and her ears back woundering who could do such a thing to kits they where so young.

[Froststream]

Lightpaw padded out of the den, not yet used to being alone. She saw Aquastar hunched in the clearing, huddled over two small bodies.
"Oh StarClan, no. Not kits." She muttered after noticing that the two bundles were Petalkit and Starkit.

Swiftkit woke up to hear aquastar and saw the two kits

Stepping into camp after having a brief emotion-let-out hunt, Nightbreeze saw Aquastar setting two bundles of fur into the center of camp. Fur bristling and tail raising like a flag pole, Nightbreeze immediately dropped the prey he had caught and streaked to the center of camp. Another murder? he asked despairingly. Nightbreeze clenched his teeth as his body tensed up. Why would some cat destroy a future for such young lives? They could have been essential to the growth of our clan in the future. Nightbreeze clamped his ears to the side of his temples, emitting a low growl.
Trying to relax a little, Nightbreeze said a silent prayer for the kit's souls as they traveled to Starclan. Kneeling down to touch their fur, he pressed his muzzle into Starkit and Petalkit's pelts.
