Born October 19th to a poor family in a small village in western Russia, and later adopted by retired schoolteachers in northern California after a car accident took his biological parents' lives when he was nine, Sasha Reznikov is an intelligent, socially awkward 18-year-old boy with a penchant for secluding himself in books and video games. With a lean, modest build, Sasha's somewhat diminutive 5'6 stature doesn't make for an imposing figure, but he's not a pushover. If you want to get to know him, all you have to do is ask.


One might assume that the traumatic experience of losing your parents and subsequently being adopted by an unknown couple in an entirely different country might deeply affect a young boy, but Sasha took it in stride, welcoming the chance at new parents. As a result of his complete lack of knowledge of the English language, Sasha had an uphill battle from the start, and finding being around those he couldn't understand or communicate clearly with uncomfortable, he mostly avoided social interactions until he mastered the language around six years later - moving from Cali to Greenville, North Carolina and leaving what few friends he'd formed a tenuous relationship with didn't help. To this day, whenever he feels unsettled by a situation he often finds himself muttering in his native language.
Delving deeper into Sasha reveals a kind, compassionate boy. In most situations, he would rather hunker into a corner and wait out the inevitable storm than rush out head first into battle, but when messed with he is not afraid to viciously bite back. Controlling his temper is much easier said than done, and once on a tirade he frequently cannot stop himself from emptying his mind out through his mouth. Nonetheless, he is a helpful person in general, and rarely turns down a genuine plea for help if he can do so. Sasha has one main rule: treat him as you want to be treated. Perhaps trite, but undeniably effective.


When the shooting stars fell, all Sasha wished was that he could see the future and prevent anything from happening to his adoptive parents, and bizarrely enough his wish was granted - with some side effects, of course. When he woke up the next day and peered in the mirror, he found that the white and iris of each eye had merged to become one color - a new, fourth primary color. With this color, he could see trails of what looked like dust of the same color, which were the future paths of time and matter. Elated at this discovery, he rushed to show his friend, but found to his horror that when she looked into his eyes she seized and lost all memory of the encounter. Frantic to prevent his freakish new eyes from hurting anyone else, he took to wearing medium-sized black goggles with purple-tinted lenses, which not only blocked out his vision of the special trails (and in doing so reduced the tremendous headache he got from looking at all of them for extended periods of time) but also hid his self-perceived deformity from everyone else to prevent overloading other people's brains with an incomprehensible new color. He yearns for the day where he'll meet the person who can look him in the eyes and tell him how luminous they are.

Personality.
Jaimoff is both as polite as he can be in a given situation and
artistic. He rarely forgets his "please" and "thank you"s. Of course,
if someone provokes him enough, he would be ready to jump into
a bar fight, but only if he's angry enough. As for his artistic nature,
Jaimoff loves to write, draw, and act. Jaimoff is also observant
and taciturn. There's barely anything his eyes don't notice. Then
again, there are a lot of things he might notice and not
understand. The point still stands, though - Jaimoff is extremely
analytic of his surroundings.
Along with being observant and analytic, he is taciturn and quiet.
He can be knowledgeable at times and is generally a fast learner.
Jaimoff likes to memorize a lot of useless facts for random
situations. It helps keep him amused, and Jaimoff likes to be
humored at all times of the day rather than be serious. Just
like he's an observant person, Jaimoff is a fast learner. He
picked up on new subjects in school with the snap of a finger.
Not everything about Jaimoff is good, though. He's a sarcastic
and prejudiced person. Most things that come out of his mouth
have a sarcastic edge to them. Most of his thoughts tend to be
on the sarcastic side as well. Jaimoff tends to be prejudiced as
well. He believes that most people follow the standard
stereotypes and tends to treat people in a stereotypical way as
politely as possible.
Jaimoff is also self-conscious and prideful. He cares about how
he looks to others. He'll do a lot of things to keep his manly pride.
If he's provoked, not only will he lose his polite manner, but he'll
do whatever it takes to get his pride and public image back.
Finally, Jaimoff is grudging and vengeful. He has a very good
memory, which causes his grudges to hold for even longer. If you
insult his pride, he'll remember and work up a devious plan to get
you back. Of course, this works in the opposite way, too. If
someone is nice to Jaimoff, he'll probably go out of his way to do
a good deed for them. He doesn't like to be in someone's debt,
and would rather someone be in debt to him. So, the moral of this
story is: be nice to Jaimoff, and you can live a relatively peaceful
life.

Jaimoff stands slightly above the average height
and manages to be lanky for it. He's an extremely
underweight person. Jaimoff has messy black hair
and bright blue eyes. For clothes, he likes to wear

History.
Jaimoff was born in Cardiff, England, and grew up with his little sister Jenna. They lived the normal English life. Well, almost normal. When Jaimoff was nine, his parents took him and Jenna to the beach one hot, summer day. However, on the beach was Jaimoff's bully, Jared. The boy decided to see what would happen if he pushed Jaimoff into deep water when a large wave was coming. The result was that Jaimoff almost drowned. Had Jenna not immediately found a life guard when she saw it happen, Jaimoff might have died. Since then, Jaimoff's been afraid of beaches and most bodies of water. That was also when he began to hate the summer and favor the winter.
When he was twelve, his parents got a divorce. His mom got custody of Jaimoff and his dad has custody of Jenna. His mom moved to Greenville, North Carolina, and his dad stayed right there in Cardiff. The move was difficult for Jaimoff, and he hated every single American, including America itself. People thought he was weird and creepy because he refused to speak to anyone. All the girls loved his accent and wanted to talk to him, but he hated them the most. It wasn't until he met a girl from Germany that he began speaking to people. The girl, Annie, helped introduce him to America and the American traditions, since she'd lived there since she was eight. Annie and Jaimoff grew rather close. However, that school year, Annie's parents decided to move back to Germany, so Annie and Jaimoff were separated.
Jaimoff had gotten used to America by then. It wasn't so bad, but he still hated the majority of Americans he met. He instead opted to watch from afar and laugh at how stupid and ignorant they all were.

Power.
Basically, Jaimoff can turn into a shadow creature. As a creature, he's about three feet tall with a slightly humanoid body made of shadows and bright yellow eyes. He can only stay like that for two hours at most before he returns to his human form. Also, when he's in the shadow creature form, the light hurts about as much as someone cutting open your skull, stomach, and neck at the same time, yet you stay alive throughout it all while they poke at your brain and intestines. That's how painful it is for Jaimoff to get touched by the light as a shadow creature.
Also, Jaimoff can manipulate the darkness and shadows, but only at night time, and he can do it the best when there's a new moon. When there's a full moon, this particular aspect of his power is pretty weak, and he can't move the shadows or hold a ball of darkness in the day time.
Finally, if Jaimoff gets really mad - and I mean really angry - instead of becoming a small little shadow creature, shadows and darkness overcome his body. He retains his same height and appearance and everything, but everything about him is a shadow, and his eyes shine a bright blue. The lights don't hurt him as much like this, and he can only stay this way for a maximum of ten minutes before he returns to his regular form and passes out from exhaustion.

Despite how laid back and gentle she may look, Ereshkigal, or E for short, is quite the little hellion. She was always like this. Acting innocent so people pitied her enough to help her. And the best yet worst part? She nearly always got what she wanted because of her act. E is seventeen years of age, having been born on June second. Her birth year is unknown, lost in the records.She is a, well, female. Her name means "Great Lady Earth", but her greatness isn't such a good thing in this aspect. She is very good at manipulation. She has both good and bad attributes. One of her strengths is, of course, being able to have better spatial awareness in pitch black. She can easily maneuver between objects silently and without bumping into them, her also light on her feet. But she has a fear of water, and despises any thoughts of swimming in it or even walking over a bridge over a stream or river. Her eyes are a brown colour, but some swear they're a bit black if you look close enough. Her hair is black, yet was dyed through with a dark purple. She has a petite frame with a modest build, nothing too striking. She is very tall for her age, being 139 centimeters tall, from the top of her head to the ground. She had wished for pyrokinesis, and got it, but she can only create/start fires every six hours. She can control them at any time.

Harold is a transducer who can read electromagnetic wavelengths with mind power alone. Hacking into cellphone signals, television broadcasts, and Wi-Fi frequencies without any hardware is his ability. Certain frequencies are invisible to him, such as Nokia signals. There are also some things that interfere with his abilities, such as Microwave transmission. And not like the kitchen appliance, but the tiny forms of wavelengths. you'll usually see Harold's hands twitching and moving quickly, his way of shifting through wavelengths. He gets very distracted when he's doing this and it often takes a few tries to catch his attention. however, he cannot hold onto the signals for longer than an hour. after that, they disappear and he gets a splitting headache. he can hide the signals, but he has not learned how to do that every time. occasionally he will just stumble upon it and they will leave, but he can never remember what he did to make them stop. the signals are different colors depending on what they are. light blue are internet, yellow are phone signals, red/pink are television, and green are radio signals.
