Russetpaw muttered something under his breath before turning towards the lake, claws smacking against the ground. He started with the fish away from his mentor and the unknown cat, a familiar pelt caught his eye as the fur on his back stood on end, "Shiver!" He was slightly startled

"I, Spiritstar, leader of NightClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Ghostpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

The ghostly white she-cat stepped forward, her ears were perked as she listened to Spiritstar. Her red gaze looked up at her leader as her tail twitched slightly. "I do" Ghostpaw said as she stood tall.

"And I am a cat of my own code, I fight to survive. Same like your clan. All cats fight to survive except for kittypets with their over fed lives. I've been in many battles for the past two moons and my scars prove it. So unless you don't show respect like what your mentor said then I suggest you hold your tongue."Ash growled.

Russetpaw was now out of earshot of the two, how dare Icesky betray me. Perhaps he should follow the kittypet into battle and mentor him instead of me he turned to face the former clan cat
