Frost yawned as she woke up. This more morning was especially cold. She gave a slight shiver as she got up. Several inches of snow had fell over the night. Frost looked out the dog house, her eyes searching the other dog houses to see if an of thee other had woken yet. Yanking on her chain, she uncovered it from the snow.

Fade was drowsily waking up. She hadn't gotten a good nights sleep, her legs and back hurt for the first time, but she would be fine.
It was cold, she was glad she had a thick fluffy pelt to help keep that away. She poked her head out to see Frost awake.
