I say a flash flood. It might not seem that 'original' an idea, but from what I've seen of the camp, they live somewhat near or on a gully, right? Those kind of areas fill up fast and you really have no kind of warning when it happens. Other could be an increase of insects, crickets, beetles, and even mice will eat bigger animals if they have a food shortage. I've seen crickets eat a live lizard's whole side and rib cage once.
Oh god no, don't make them eat bearded dragons. .. they're my babies...

@Atlas It might be kinda hard for them to eat bearded dragons or horned lizards, wouldn't that hurt?

@Spirit-Not if you flipped them over and cut their underbellies, where it is softer and less scales. Besides, most animals want what's inside, not on the outside. Liver, heart, lungs, etc.
XD Sorry Atlas, just the animal expert in me talking. ;3
How big are your babies? I work at my Local Petsmart and our new guys are still pretty small.

I have a two year old beardie. Her name is Marina and she an adorable little specimen. <3
Sorry, off topic. Anyways, I'm going to post, then finish my form. Both of my cats are open.

@galaxy No worries! You don't necessarily need to post everyday, just 2-3 times a week. Unless, of course, you want to post more often - then go right ahead!
@Aya I know absolutely nothing about reptiles, but working at Petsmart probably means you know a lot! So, theoretically, would the cats eat the lizard from the underside and leave the horned parts? Or would they eat most of it like they do a mouse or shrew?

Aw, I bet she's cute. :3
I just posted for Wildheart, so if you want you can get with Wildheart, as he is at this moment sneering at a certain she cat.
@Spirit- Hmm, I know a good bit. My best subject is fish, birds, and hamsters. I know a good bit about reptiles, but for the really hard stuff I would have to ask for a co-workers help. I have a friend or two that works with me that keep, breed, and have had alot of reptiles. For the most part, yes. Though some may try to eat it depending on the cat. I've seem some cats eat just the middle and sometimes the tail. I use to have a dog that would hunt Anoles in LA. He bite the middle of their heads. He never ate them as far as I know, but it was like listening to someone eating a big potatochip. All you could hear was this loud 'CRUNCH' when he caught them. XD

All posted on my part as well c:
Ugh, I'm sorry for making Serpentfang sound like a massive sap towards Raindapple!
I cannot write anything sweet when it comes to romance T^T
And jee, I just realized. I'm writing too characters who are extremely loyal to the clan to the point where they'll have a heart attack when just one is hurt or sad. Wow. That makes me feel so creative. *Sarcasm*
