Amberpaw felt crushed by the new deaths. Daypaw and Sparrowpaw had trained along side her, and she knew them better than Berryleaf. "May they rest well in Starclan", she murmured.

Hawkpool emerged from her den, stopping dead in her tracks at the sight of the apprentices. "No... it... it wasn't Starkit..." she stammered, grief overwhelming her. How could this happen? She shook, looking around at the clan. The clan was needed a leader too protect and lead them, and with her as deputy... She took a deep staggering breath, stepping onto the Highrock that had remained untouched. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey..." another deep breath. "Gather here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting."

Ashpaw parted from the apprentice's bodies and made her way towards Highrock, sitting down with her Tail wrapped around her paws, She wipped her muzzle clean of blood, due to the fact she carried the bodies back to camp

Gingerscratch walks up next to Hawkpool. "We voted out the wrong cat...." she quakes in the thought of a murderer still living in the clan, and bathes her paw. "How... how c-c-c-could we???"
