It was a cold, thunderstorming night. Every cat stayed in their den if they knew what was best for them. Poor Cinderpaw hadn't eaten the night before. She was absolutely starving... Well, spending two minutes out to grab a mouse didn't kill any cat, did it? She slipped out of the medicine cat den and towards the freshkill pile, the rain pelting her strongly. She reached for a mouse, but a movement behind the apprentice caused her to turn around. Cinderpaw opened her mouth to greet the other and ask why they were out, but a furtive death blow to the neck caused the apprentice to fall over. She was dead before she hit the fresh-kill pile. The murderer slipped out to the river where they washed their paws, knowing that the rain would wash off any leftover scent they had left. Cinderpaw's fur was still damp when the other cats woke up.

Watch out, Thunderclan. You have a murderer and only voting correctly can make you survive.

Sparrowpaw woke up and stretched, a little groggy from sleep. I wonder if someone will play with me... I wanna play with Daypaw. She thought, and she stumbled out of the den on tiny paws. She was about to turn to the apprentice den to look for her, when she spotted a larger than usual lump on the fresh kill pile, and Swiftstar standing there, talking to herself. Curiously, she padded over, recognizing the lump as Cinderpaw. "Swiftstar, have you seen Daypaw? Why is Cinderpaw sleeping on the fresh kill pile?" She mewed, looking at Cinderpaw's body. She had only seen the apprentice once before.

lazily getting up from sleep decided to pad outside and seen the leader next to the fresh kill pile and noticed a cat dead in the fresh kill pile and cried out in alarm what happened to her swiftstar do you know?!?!?

Jackdawpaw;

"What happened?" He mewed as he dashed out of the apprentice den, eyes clouded with worry.

The soft falling of rain outside of the den lulled Daypaw to sleep softly, her tail on her nose and her body buried into her moss bed. As voices rose out of the dry den, the apprentice was woken, her eyes wide and groggy from sleep. Jumping from her nest, she ran from the nestings, accidentally tripping on Jackdawpaw's tail with a sorry called behind her. As she saw the body a leader by her side, the blood ran from her face, the rain pelting down on her hiding the tears that ran from her eyes. "What happened?" She asked the leader.
