"What have all of you guys been doing, huh?" Eternity sighed. She looked at Merr first, examining the cut on his throat. "I'll need to sort that one out properly for you at the hospital. All I can do for now is wrap it up." She wrapped some soft padding around Merr's neck and tightened it to stop the blood flow. Next, she looked at Yara. She looked him over, disinfected his wounds and wrapped them in the padding. The adult Ink had gone off somewhere to get away from everyone. Lastly, she looked at InkJR with a sad sigh. She gently lifted him up and stroked him. "So young...There's nothing I can do for him..." She quietly said, parting the fur around his deep wounds. The vet took out the syringe full of green stuff again, then looked at Merr. It was true. Nothing could really be done...He would suffer for the rest of his life. Nobody would want this for such a young pup..."I hope you understand..."

Merr lifted his head, whining. He knew what she was about to do, and he knew that it was for the best. He dipped his head in achknowledgement. "I'm sorry kid..." How would he tell Yara when he woke...

[Bolt1784]

"W-What's going on?..Merr?.." InkJR weakly whined, opening his eyes to look at Merr. "What is she g-going to do?"
Eternity gently put InkJR on the ground and lifted his front paw up in the air so she could see his leg better.
"Merr? Help...Yar-" He suddenly stopped as the needle went in to his leg, and he froze for a moment, then flopped over, dead...

Merr raised his head as much as he could and howled in sorrow for his fallen friend. "I'm sorry Ink..." His voice was a whisper, tears sliding down his face. He collapsed back to the ground, unconscious, his life slowly slipping away from him.

The demon lunged at Yuki, but mid-jump, the animals eye's flashed red. "No!" Shade snapped his jaws shut so he wouldn't hurt Yuki. "Sorry," he gasped.

"Okay, let's get you in the van." Eternity carefully picked Merr up and carried him over to a white van that was parked by a big tree. "Geez, you're heavy!" She put him on the soft green pet bed that was in the back of the van, then went back and did the same for Chako and Yara. Dark slowly followed Eternity up to the van and jumped in, then curled up at the very back of the boot, not wanting to show his face. It was embarrassing to him...Finally, Eternity went back to pick up InkJR. "I'm so sorry, kid..." She whispered, gently stroking his cold fur...

Rako jumped on the back, Koji in his mouth. "Don't forget me!" He placed her down on the opposite side to Merr and Yara, he didn't want either of them to wake up and hurt her by accident. "What's up with Ink?"

"He's dead. That monster out there killed him." Dark growled quietly, flattening his ears.

Rako sighed and looked at his paws. "But we're safe aren't we? To take them with her?" He cocked his head, his gaze fixed on Dark.

"I don't know." Dark sighed. He stood up shakily and jumped out of the van, only just landing on his paws. "I don't want help from a human. You don't know what they did to my dad..."
