All seemed peaceful in Thunderclan. For some reason, all of the warriors, apprentices, queens, and kits had been called to one giant Gathering, leaving the elders to their own devices. How anyone could assume this was a good idea is still unknown, as several of the elders were quite senile, others had no clue what was going on ever, and others were just plain useless.

However, one elder seemed bitter, and, in their blind fury, attempted to kill Nightgaze, but to no avail. The kill was intercepted by the guard, who was busy watching over the victim at the moment, leaving Nightgaze with only ruffled fur. Everyone is safe...for now.
