Kestrelstar smiled reassuringly at her to show that he meant no harm. "Winter, you have reached the age of six moons an' it's time for you to be apprenticed. From this day forward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Winterpaw. Your mentor will be Deadeagle and I hope that he'll pass down all he knows on to you. Deadeagle, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from X an' you 'ave shown yourself to be thoughtful an' clever. You'll be the mentor of Winterpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know on to her."

Blazeclaw yawned as he dosed on his back on the clearing, watching the ceremony out of the corner of his eye. Bored, he stood and shook out his pelt.

Squirrelkit padded down the path towards Flamekit. "Hi, Beetlepaw, hi, Flamekit."

"Hooverville?" Woodpaw echoed bemusedly. "What's that?"

"Yeah, aside from you." Robinthroat chuckled and gave Wolfstorm a prod in the shoulder. "Oh, that's right! I remember now. Sorry, I guess all of this drama is messing with my head."

Peachtail gave a small nod. "Yeah. You...really like t-this place?"
