i continued walking, placing one foot in front of the other. there were so many things buzzing around in my head. it was making my head throb. it hurt too much to think, and the sunlight was making my head hurt, on top of that. i wasn't to sure if it was just a migraine or not. i had absolutely no desire to do anything (like i am today) and i just couldn't focus. i dumped my load next to a tree in a shady spot. so it wouldn't heat up. i sat on the ground listening to the sounds of the animals and the breeze flowing past my face. undisturbed, adapting to everything and anything that blocked it's path. even to my face it adapted too. just glided over, changing trajectory and silently and softly flowing over my face. i let a smile crawl across my face as i opened my eyes. the light didn't seem to bother me no, the ache went away in my head.

i felt fine like i had before all this happened. i shrugged. i guess i just felt homesick. i missed being home, and i was as skinny as a twig. not having eaten anything in a few days. i was becoming hungry, but i didn't show it. it seemed we have been on this island for months, and it was starting to get at me. i guess i really needed my medicine. bad. i was starting to go crazy. not that i wasn't before i came. going on this cruise was crazy, even surviving that accident was crazy. i sighed before standing again, picking up my stuff and walking again. i didn't find my confidence, but i wasn't going to sit here and let my emotions rule me over and make this more of a disaster. all we needed was some kind of flare, or... some way to signal someone if a plane or something did come.

but first we'd need to get a good feel of the island. we have been in just one corner for a time, we need to go exploring again. i started to walk, to find Kat, and let her know about my plan. if this island was being passed by with out ship, their had to be a dock. and if those kids were still alive, we needed to find them again. gain information from their time here, and put it all together. i could underwater dive again and check out if their was some kind of sea food around here. we could start with that. but first i needed to find Kat. i turned and contained to walk, sniffing around, trying to catch Kat's scent. i caught a faint trace of it. sighing i started walking, calling out her name hoping she hadn't gone too far.

Katrina sunk down into the water until she was chin deep now. She was so relaxed, and comfortable. She felt clean to. But someone calling her name caught her attention. They were really close by the sound of their voice. Her eyes widened, she knew it was Luka. But she was in a bit of a dilemma. Get out a risk being seen bare. Or stay in the water and let him find her. But demand he not look at her as she get dressed. She liked the second idea better.

i found her. i kept walking, fixing my eyes on her head. i decided to leave her be, since she was keeping her body hidden from me. not that i... oh forget it. i sat by the trees, watching her and keeping my movements and breathing about as silent as i could i set down my stuff. it was a heavy load and i needed to take a rest. i was thirsty now, and i sifted through the bag and found another water canister. opening it, i took a drink of the cold water and set it back in the bag. i needed to save it, just in case. since we didn't have ice to keep stuff cool, water would have to be collected and drank in the evening. or it would be warm.

i blinked and looked around the area, assessing the fact that we were near our cave. i wondered where the other boys were. if i saw them... i'd pin one and kill the other. the only one i'd trust is the littler one.... Marcus? was his name? maybe... the last time i saw him was when we were preparing for the boat. i stood up. "hey kat, you think the boys would be down by the boat? trying to escape?" i said as i picked up my mess and walked out. wrong time, but i didn't care. that's probably why they were gone so long.

Katrina looked up just barely noticing Luka, and he went and sat by some trees. But she could still feel his eyes on her and it made her feel uncomfortable, and not really willing to get out. She'd sit here until he looked away. She was willing to wait that long. Dunking under the water she swam towards the shore. Stopping when it was a bit higher than her chest. When she was positive he had looked away she was quick to get out of the water. Licking her lips she grabbed the pair of shorts and pulled them on. She had to roll them up of course otherwise they'd be to big for her. And would slip right off. The shirt was still a bit damp and she sighed. First she threw her hair up in a pony tail. She let out a shriek automatically covering her chest up when she spotted Luka. She blew a random strand of her hair out of her face and stared at him wide eyed. "I-I-I guess? I don't know." she muttered reaching down with one of her hands to grab the shirt. She wasn't comfortable with being seen like this.
