Mosco

Mosco had his ears back as he walked up the hill. He had left his pack safely in an abandoned den, and his pups were now fully grown. He had begun to miss Alaya. It was like she went too quickly. She never got to be a mom to their pups. As he approached the barn, his body seemed to weaken. All the memories came back to him and he shivered.

She stared at the barn's roof sadly, her eyes close and she stares at her paws. Maybe he left...maybe he forgot...about, me. Alaya held back her tears and sat down, she loweres her head and cries softly. The border collie knew no one would hear, I'm all alone now, I'm..... Alaya sniffed and felt a hot tear trickle down her cheek.

Mosco

As Mosco came up the hill, he saw a dog sitting in the middle of the barn. He shook his head. Probably another stray, he told himself. But as he got closer, he saw this wasn't any dog. This was Alaya. He widened his eyes and stopped in his tracks. No, she couldn't be! She died in front of him! But maybe she didn't die after all? The humans revived her! He couldn't help but grin as he raced up to her and jumped onto her gently. "Alaya!" he cried happily. She was back, it was really her!

The collie leaped straight up to a familiar voice, she turned around slowly. "Mosco!!" Alaya cried out and bolted to him, she dug her face into his neck. Tear after tear streamed down her face, "oh I missed you, I missed you.." Her tail wagged happily and she licked his muzzle. Alaya could not believe her eyes, he's here with me, he's actually here. I-I can't believe it. This must be a dream, I never want to wake up. I never want to..

Mosco

Mosco embraced her close, licking her muzzle back and wagging his tail hard. "I thought you were dead!" he exclaimed, nuzzling her lovingly as tears filled his eyes. She was back! He would never leave her, ever again.

"Where were you?" she murmmured quietly and rubbed her snout against he neck. Alaya held her eyes shut and she nuzzled his ear. The collie smiled warmly, she nuzzled his ear. "It has been too long..." she said sadly.

He dug his muzzle into her neck fur and sighed, breathing in her sweet scent. "I've been raising our puppies," he said softly, smiling at the thought.

"Where are they?" she asked with bright eyes. I can't believe...this is too good to be true. I have pups, I have Mosco. This must be heaven...it must be...paradise. Alaya laid her ears back and nuzzled Mosco's muzzle, "I had almost forgotten about everything. I almost...but that doesn't matter. We're both here, that is good enough for me."

Mosco smiled and licked her muzzle a few times before continuing to nuzzle her. "They are safe in a den with an old friend of mine," he said, before closing his eyes and licking her cheek.
