i think it's because i can connect better with male characters, and designs that appeal to me usually end up looking as if the character should be male??

yep!!
i haven't developed enough of them with sexualities, considering my amount of OCs, but those that do have sexualities come in all kinds!

I have about 75% males and 25% females. I'm not sure why, but I tend to connect more with male characters even though I am female myself.

This depends on the group of characters (I group them by story). In Dustin's group, just about everyone is heterosexual except Firedrake, who is asexual. This is because I first began that story at the age of 13 when I barely knew what the word 'sexuality' meant.

In Gavin's story, the characters are much more diverse. For example, Gavin is demiromantic asexual, Chase is biromantic heterosexual, Steve and Penny are heterosexual, Howard and Trixie are homosexual...and so on.

Do you age your characters?
Yes, but only as part of their stories. And there's no rhyme or reason to when and how I draw them, they can be elders in one picture and babies in the next.

I have a good mix of both, I think, and a handful of non-binaries too. I think I revolve more around female though, they're easier for me to draw xD

Again, I have a very wide range xP ive got straight ones, gay ones, lesbian ones, bisexual ones, asexual ones, and pansexual ones cx basically if it exists, I've got it ;u;

Only my humanoid characters (because I role-olay with them). They usually have the same age, except Henry, who can go from 17 to 25.

Which character do you find the hardest to get art of?
Furattā. I find her hard to draw myself (it's hard to make her one showing eye look nice since she has no real pupil) and everytime I get art of her it's not exactly right (she usually comes out too mature-looking and too serious-looking).

I think about 13. I might have to check again, but somewhere near that. I don't think I'll ever get to the triple digits lol.

I try to keep an even amount of both. But I think my males are outweighing the females right now.

I have some gay, some lesbian, some straight, and a couple pan and asexual. But most at bi. I try no to narrow them down to a single gender.
