I've traded this one villager farmer a bunch of times, and I got about five emeralds off him in a row. I tried to trade with him again, however, and he's not letting me. He grunts when I put wheat in his slot and and has a cross over the arrows.
Why? ;n;

That trade is used up for now- do one of his other trades and wait for the green sparkles and see if it opens up again. Should also unlock new trades from him! He won't always trade the same thing (something to prevent the old massive villager emerald farms where you could trade boatloads of paper for boatloads of emeralds nonstop! Now it's a little harder to do that since they nerfed it) so you'll have to do some other things to get the same trade open again.

Normally I start on a world as a cave hermit for a while, then eventually move topside and make my own house. I do have a survival world going where I made a village my home (walled it off, took over one of the houses, redecorated other houses to suit my needs like storage and enchanting). So all three!

At first, like Ember, I live in a cave just to survive the first few nights, mine and gather the resources to make my own home. ^^

Strongholds or Mineshafts? Because of the infinate terrain, its quite random, but fairly rare.

Well I tend to start a new world with a build for a home already in mind. And I like to have my home built before going to gather a bunch of resources(Ill mine some iron and coal, but not much else), so my first little while of a world is spent staying the night. In small dugouts in hillsides until I find where I want to live.
In one world I was going to take a village and, using the same homes, destroy and build it back up to be more uniform. So I took over one of the butcher Homes to use his fence for my horses. Lol In my most recent world, I wondered around for about 2-3 real life days before I finally found a plains biome to settle in.

I'm totally a cave person. But the way I do it is kinda weird. Because I also have a house.
Instead of just finding a cave and living in it I find /the/ perfect cave. Then I do some remodeling. I usually replace the floors and sometimes the ceiling or walls of the cave. (If enough recourses are available)
I usually pick a cave that would be easy to build inside and outside of. That way I can build an outside house part that's connected to the cave.
From the outside it just looks like a house built up against a mountain, but inside you can see that it's actually a cave.
Of course I never pick deep caves or ones that have tunnels that lead to other places unless I think it would be a good mining area. In that case I block off the tunnel so that monsters from the cave system cants get into my house and when I feel like mining I just unblock it and go on down!

Is installing mods the same for cracked and paid minecraft versions?
My bro wants to install a mod and he has a cracked while I have paid version. (My parents said only one paid minecraft game, as money can be spent for other more important stuff)
