"I-" Before he finished something stop him from talking, A shadow figure is behind them, running "Fancy seeing you here." Death say to replace his unfinished 'speech'.
Piefan wrote:Flame almost retorted a snarky remark at the insult of being childish, but caught himself just in time. Death was the leader, the one who saved him. He couldn't disagree with anything Death said. It was never set as an official rule, but Flame knew it was an unwritten one. He looked at Piefan; the strange bat - no, human, stared at the group. If the look before was fearful, then this was flat out terrified.
He stood to attention at Death's words, awaiting his speech. The leader was important without a doubt. He glared at Enchantress, whose gems glowed as usual. Funny how they kept changing. Did they change with no particular pattern, or did her emotions affect them? That was incredibly fascinating -- wait, what? They were just random gemstones, which glowed and changed colours. Nothing interesting there. He snapped back to attention, looking at Death. "Yes, what did you wish to say?" he asked politely.

Reef looked at Viatrix. Quite an odd name, and she noticed the way he hesitated before telling her the simple name. "I'm Reef." She sat back down on the stump, eyeing the dog. He showed little emotion apart from confusion. Why, she wondered? This was a regular day on Chicken Smoothie, apart from Gunnar of course, but that hadn't spread here yet. An thought popped into her mind, one that she herself didn't believe. But she suggested it anyway. "You're not from CS, are you?" she asked. She was expecting an "Of course I am!" and perhaps a facepaw depending on his attitude. Still Reef knew it was possible, however small the chance may be.
((Fun fact: When I roleplay after reading novels this happens.))
DragonWill wrote:" Yes?" I replied. Maybe lying was better.
So... it was a human. Hah. That human was his now. He would case it on its clumsy legs. He would taunt it. Maybe it would get away. But it would all be an act. And he was the star.
Piefan wrote:Reef gasped at the answer. "Really?" she asked, shocked. A human... How did she not expect the answer to be a yes? Everything led to him being one. But yet humans were almost impossible to find here, so that was a valid excuse.
