yeah but consider this; a magical girl roleplay based off of the myers-briggs personality types where they get their power and weapon from their personality.

-casts puppy dog eyes at the both of you- Ooo pirate RP pirate RP yesss
So far I only have a basic idea of the plot/characters and kind of just things that would be cool to happen, but I would love to develop it more with you guys.
I'm planning on making the RP + a disucssion thread on AS when I get time this weekend, but do you guys want to reserve any characters? (And also, I would prefer to do this on AS because it's easier in terms of, you'know, pirates, but if anyone has an issue we can always do it on here too.)
      Captain : open
      Cook : open
      Navigator : open
      Doctor/first mate : open
      Musician : open
      Sniper/Cannoneer : open
      Shipwright : open
-whispers- I don't really mind who I play, so you guys can have first pick ^u^ I have ideas for pre much all of them xD

And like maybe it starts out with the captain meeting their first mate and people can pair up and develop their relationships with other characters before they even become part of the crew, or maybe they're all on the same ship for some reason (like one is raiding, one's a guard, one's there to steal everyone's money, etc.) and they end up on the same boat and survive together or they're all in jail for one reason or another and the captain (or someone) comes to break them out and recruit them an no-one gets along very well because they clash so much, but then they have all these adventures and get closer. :3

Ah, I have this idea for the plot where the musician wasn't an original part of the crew and the captain or whoever recruited them and no-one trusts them because they were a former marine officer and everyone thinks that the musician will betray them. So if anyone wants to play two characters they can play someone from the original crew and we could roleplay for a while and then introduce the musician?

Oh gosh this is long now. ;n; I'm sorry for blabbing so much about it, I just have a lot of pirate RP feels //sobs quietly.

Ooh, this sounds cool! Shoot me a PM when it's set up! :D
I'd love to play the musician or the cannoneer or the navigator. Hmmm... reserve me the sniper/cannoneer? C:

Gahhh.. I started browsing through the roleplay boards and just.. ugh..

I feel like CS needs to set a limit on what semi-lit qualifies as and keep an eye on the threads.. I've run into so many threads that require, "AT LEAST 2 sentences." or three lines. I just, honestly, don't feel like that even begins to qualify as semi-lit. Or I've seen a ton of people who use text talk every single OOC post and have no "respect" for grammar or anything.

Am I being a bit tyrannical when I say this annoys the POO out of me? When I go to browse the semi-lit forms I want to actually see semi-lit. I feel like this should at least entail a whole paragraph. Which according to Utah State University is three sentences.

I know everyone's definition of semi-lit is different but I feel like the boards are turning into something that definitely isn't semi-lit.

I'm going crazy. I need new ACTUAL semi-lit boards.. I'm just too lazy to get up and look.

We try to keep the roleplays in the semi-lit up to a certain level, but inevitably there will always be users who post their less-literate roleplays in the these boards. The mods make a big effort to keep the threads sorted, but it's always helpful if you report the topic which is out of place, to bring it to our attention!

But I do agree this is frustrating when searching for a good, literate RP. ^^

I remember you mentioning on AS that you might include marines chasing the pirates in the roleplay. :3 are you still planning on including that?
I have this amazingly snooty naval captain/officer that I've been wanting to play so bad

i need an actual, good, real, literate (like 4+ paragraphs per post kind of thing) human/animal lab experiments roleplay. possibly a fandom (hetalia/dangan ronpa) au or just an original character kind of thing with a big diverse cast (POC, trans people, queer people, etc.), probably with a very small/moderately small (4-6 people) group. might anyone be interested in that? i'd like to do it on AS due to lack of restriction and whatnot

I've been quite inactive here, haven't I?
My muse has been lacking a lot lately, so I haven't joined any role-plays in a pretty long time, haha.

Does anyone like little role-plays that they can dabble in from time to time, and isn't very strict on posting time? I will admit I'm not very active in posting when my muse is low or I have motivation, but I really want to remake an old role-play of mine (this and this one) and would want to see if anyone who isn't too strict on activity would be interested. c:

I know I've been pitching a lot of ideas recently but bear with me here. I really want a fantasy RP with a very, umn, diverse cast. The plot would be semi-open but with prompting events occurring if things start to slow down.
You are one of a group of friends. You all grew up together in the same town; you all practiced your skills from your early childhood years in the same field. Between the lot of you, there's a healer, mage, knight, tactician, thief, dark wizard, dragon tamer, and an heir; no one has ever understood why the seven of you are so close, but you are. You do everything together when you can now that you've hit your teen years, as your own little adventurer party.

Unfortunately, it meant you were all together when everything went wrong. A supernatural quake struck the cliffs near your town, cutting a deep and insurmountable slice into the earth—and don't even try to fly over it, there appears to be barrier fixated on electrocuting you— while your band was on the other side hunting a rouge chimera. You've hiked your way to the nearest village, but with no way to return home, you must carve out a new life.

And who said the quake would be the only supernatural event to torment you?

Not exactly modern fantasy, eheh. Improvising would be encouraged in regards to species, local creatures and phenomena, etc, along with creating colorful personalities to spice things up some.
