Waking up in the warriors den she padded off to see what a cumotion that she heard was about and seen the medicine cat was dead and asked what could have happened during the night.

Jayfrost walked out of the warriors den and over to Winterstar. "There's no scent of rogue.. Or loner.. Winterstar, I think one of our clanmates did this." He rested his tail on Winterstar's back to comfort her, but kept his eyes on the dead medicine cat's corpse.

"Why would someone do this?" Willowpaw asked. The poor cat was extremely sensitive and the death of her mentor was causing her to tremble like a leaf and her voice to tremble as well.

"It must be." Winterstar mewed, looking at the deputy. Was the murderer Jayfrost? Hopefully not. She then looked down at Willowpaw. "I have never really experienced a cat you know being killed... but now I find out how it feels..." She mewed quietly, however not as quiet as a whisper.
