Echochance stood at Shudderleafs side, every second she waited felt like an eternity. "Please." She whispered beggingly, at a volume only Shudderleaf could hear, "We NEED you to stay alive." A single tear rolled down her cheek and onto Shudderleafs ear, trickling down it, and onto the dry, dusty, soil beneath Shudderleafs broken body.

Shudderleaf heard, and managed to flicker her eyes open. Cries of joy echoed around the camp. Shudderleaf looked up at Articpast and Dripkit, the two cats who meant most to her after Sandclaw and her mate Snowblaze died. She slowly stood up, and walked stiffly over to Articpast and brushed muzzles with him. Dripkit leaped onto her, mewing with excitement. Pain flashed through Shudderleaf's eyes as Dripkit scrabbled down. Her neck wound was still bleeding, and she collapsed taking deep breaths.

"Quick, someone go get the Medicine Cat!" yelled Echochance shaking, she had never witnessed anything like this, ever.
Articpast walked over to the gorgeous, white cat, lying on the ground, and softly whispered into her ear, "As I was saying," He smiled, "I love you."
The Medicine cat, BrindleTail, a she-cat, shooed away all the other cats and began to heal Shudderleafs wound, "You will soon be good as new." She mewed softly. "Your in good paws." Echoed Nightcling.
"Come Dripkit, lets leave mommy alone for a while." Meowed Articpast quickly, "We must leave for a while while she recovers..."

Darkheart watched them. He sighs. Many warriors come from different places. He shook his gaze and wanders off to get to do something. It's not his place to bother them.

Shudderleaf looked longingly at Dripkit and her beloved Articpast while Brindletail bandaged her up. Shudderleaf purred as she thought what a wonderful new dad Articpast would be for Dripkit after Snowblaze died. Shudderleaf felt a pang of sadness as she remembered the strong warrior Snowblaze who died protecting her and Dripkit when they first had him. When Shudderleaf was all done for then, she padded over to Articpast. "I love you too, Articpast." After they played with Dripkit and ate a mouse together, Shudderleaf realized something: Would Snowblaze be upset where he was now in Starclan? For a heartbeat she thought she scented the strong bold warrior and heard him whisper, "You made a great new choice, and I love you more everyday." His scent faded, and Shudderleaf herded Dripkit into the nursery for bedtime. "You were like Starclan! you came back from the dead!" Dripkit squeaked and started to bounce. "I didn't go to Starclan, Dripkit." Shudderleaf purred.
