Akane descended down the staircase, white pumps barely making a sound on the cashmire rug that coated the marble tiers. She glanced around at the trembling crowd, nearly throwing her hands in the air and saying 'what is all the fuss?!'. Sharply exhaling, she stepped into the busy crowd. Spotting Nadia waiting for her, she effortlessly glided towards the nervous woman, restraining herself from grabbing her shoulders and shaking her. "Hm. I don't get what the fuss is about really Nadia..." Akane said, rather calm and tranquil. As she looked around, she spotted her parents. Ignoring them, she turned her attention to the maid, waiting for a reply. My stuff's still at James... better get it later, she mused to herself, noting it down mentally.
James walked over to the terrance, looking around the grounds. The vast, empty green seemed almost daunting though the freshness of the morning air was inviting. Deciding on going out for a ride, he scooped up Xaria and walked outside into the courtyard, Angel following happily. Thankfully, the whole manor seemed rather empty and he tacked up
Jet, his black Thoroughbred mare. Her shiny coat gleemed as he led her out, Xaria looking at the mare wistfully. Aa James jumped on, the group decided to trot into the estate's secret glade; Angel followed happily on the ground whilst Xaria stayed curled up in his hood. Time for some proper flying lessons I think, Xaria, he thought mentally, knowing the cerulean blue dragon would be able to hear. Xaria snorted, stretching back her wings, sunlight shining through the thin membrane.
At last, the group managed to tumble into the glade after going through some dense forest. The sun was shining throughout the glade, no blade of grass left uncovered. In the distance, James could hear the trinkling sound of spring water running thinly over pebbles and the whistling of a gentle breeze running through the grass lush from new growth. Dismounting and letting Jet had a rest in the glade, he held Xaria carefully as he let go of the dragon, propelling her into in the air. Xaria darted into the sky, her wings flat against her sides as she shot like an arrow up. Before long, her missile lauch off his hands had started to fade and she was flapping, hard, to keep herself up. You will build muscle, he said to her mentally. Xaria relayed a annoyed emotion back to him and he managed a small smile. Angel was fooling around, trying to snap her jaws playfully at fluttering butterflies.
Riko slowly danced her way through the forest, thinking of her mission to find the dragon egg again. Annoyed, she ended up around town, asking local shops with face graciousness for spare food. She managed half a loaf of bread and two apples from the bakery and grocers. Sitting in the entrance of the old 'Florists' and Bolts' shop, she munched on her breakfast and pwondered about what to do. Lots of different situatios came into her head until suddenly, she felt the prescence of something - somebody. They were giving off strong power vibes and as Riko honed in on them, she felt that she had become acknowledged to it somehow recently. Narrowing her eyes, she looked up to find herself facing the Accossiations door. A guard was painfully shoving her inside, "Your'll be late for the trial; hurry up and sit down." He said in a gruff voice. Riko reluctantly stopped herself from changing and sat down dutifully, watching the empty room scattered with people. A few Reapers had entered, floating around the front of the room. Riko pressed herself againats the wooden seat, hoping they wouldn't sense her in her human form.
