Preparing mentally and physically for SERE, yelling at a few people, getting some updates on the civil problems going on in Ukraine and some parts of the Middle East, normal routines.
We had a drill the other day which was sort of like a pop quiz on various situations of various circumstances. If I were a teacher, those grades would have sucked, so now everyone gets to go back to the books like they're all in ROTC or Privates again. That proved to be the icing on the cake.
Plus, my acting Platoon Commander recently blew out his knee, so that's been the main reason I've been busy. Fun fun.
Besides, GySgt isn't happy that I'm leaving which means more work for him, so he's been giving me a bit of a cold shoulder.
I've had to babysit my friends' dog recently, and find the dog that came up on the base a new home, but now since they're gone I'm hoping I'll be able to rest a bit easier with only one dog instead of three in my bed.
