Rafael is a fun-loving party animal. He's a complete socialite, starting up conversations with everyone he meets and making all kinds of friends wherever he goes. He acts like he's fearless, however if anyone actually threatens to hit him, he literally cowers in fear. He can get a bit cocky at times, and is fairly competitive because of it, but he'll usually have a friend around to keep him in check. Rafael is a very sweet guy, helping people when they're in trouble and trying to cheer them up when they're down in the dumps. But sometimes when helping people he'll take on a little bit more than he can handle, which can end in disaster. Luckily he's got enough friend's that there will usually be someone around to help him out of sticky situations, but when he doesn't, things get messy.

I have been looking at foxerflies for a while now, and I've tried out for a few but never really put my heart into it because they weren't anything too special to me. So right now I'm a non owner and would really like a foxerfly. But unlike the others I've tried out for, this one really makes me excited. It's bright colors really seem happy and fun-loving, and it's just gorgeous all around. But on top of all of it's fabulousness, it's in honor of a holiday that has more meaning to me than most. For one, Cinco de Mayo isn't only the super cool holiday, but it's also my birthday. So that's neat. But also, my dog recently passed away; on May fourth, the day before Cinco de Mayo. So not only am I trying out for a gorgeous boy, but also someone who represents my birthday holiday, and can be a reminder of my wonderful puppy.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Rafael groaned and opened his eyes, slowly blinking the sleep from them and looking over at the noisy alarm clock. "What time is it?" He said groggily, hitting the clock to shut it up. Then he jumped from his bed and into his slippers, suddenly super excited; today was Cinco de Mayo. "The party!" He exclaimed, running into his living area. He quickly began setting up decorations and putting out party favors even though the party didn't start until later. He wanted to be ready before the parade, so he wouldn't have to worry about getting back early. Decorating took a few hours, and cooking took a few more. By the time he had finished getting the house ready, it was nearly time to get to the parade. And as he sat back and admired his work, he realized he wasn’t even dressed yet! Shaking his head at his forgetfulness, Rafael darted back into his room to get into his outfit for the party, and took a few seconds to make sure his fur was laying flat, before taking one last look around the house and running out the door. The parade this year was spectacular, all the celebration, excitement, colors, and piñatas. But of course, the parade was always spectacular, as well as the fiestas. But this year, he was sure his would be the best. He had worked hard on making sure everything was perfect before the parade, everything had a place, every decoration and every party favor. The food was cooked to perfection, and based on tradition. Everything was going as planned. Or so he thought. When he got back inside his house, just ten minutes before everyone else was supposed to show up, he stepped inside to find the entire place was a reck. He had unintentionally set up a Rube Goldberg type effect while setting up his decorations. When he shut the door, he knocked something off of a shelf which set the whole thing off. "I don't have time for this!" He groaned. But he simply shook his head and went back to work. His friends were all looking forward to this celebration, and he couldn't let them down. But he had only gotten a little bit set up before the doorbell rang for the first time; his first guest had arrived. He groaned softly and opened the door. "Sorry." He said sheepishly. "I'm still setting up. You can come in if you'd like, but it's not completely decorated yet. I had a little mishap." "That's alright." Said his friend. "I can help you set up!" Ralf smiled but shook his head. "No, that's alright. You're my guest." But his friend set to work on helping him anyways. And with Ralf and his friend both working on it, they set up all of the decorations just a few seconds before the next guest showed up. "Thank you, I really don't think I could have finished on time without your help." His friend smiled and nodded, then Ralf let in the other party guests. The party still ended up being the best that year, but only because he had help from his friend.
{Sorry that I didn't use a real foxerfly for Ralf's friend. By the time I knew I'd need one, I didn't have time to ask permission from somebody.}
