"YOU BASTARD!!!" Came a huge howl. InkJR was running towards Merr and Yara at full speed, his eyes still glowing red with the darker red running down his back. To him, it looked like Merr had attacked Yara and bitten off the adult Ink's leg in a rage. "GET AWAY FROM YARA!"

[Solanum]

Yara put out a paw to stop InkJr. "Ink... It's okay... He saved me, and Ink. I'd like you to meet Merr. This is my little brother." He got to his paws, beaming proudly at his little brother.

"No he didn't help you. He's brainwashed you." InkJR snarled, baring his fangs at Merr. "I hate you..."

[Solanum]

Merr cocked his head at InkJR, blinking. "Listen kid... I've done nothing to him... well... Nothing he won't grow back. He attacked me... Do you think I cut my own throat?" He stopped, doubling over and coughing loudly, blood dripping from his open mouth. "Yara... Ink and I need a healer... His leg might need a bit more work... But it should be alright. And I need someone to look at my throat."

InkJR still had the knife in his head, but he had turned his head sideways so Merr and Yara wouldn't be able to see it. He slowly went back to his normal state and sank down to the ground, exhausted...

"There's a human around here, but not a hunter from what I can hear back at camp. I'll go and check." The adult Ink sighed, limping off towards the Shadow Pac territory. He bumped in to a tree and grunted, then carried on.

Merr nudged InkJr with his head. "Go. I'll drag his sorry hide back. Don't worry. I can take a lot more than I look." He grabbed Yara by the scruff and put him onto his back, trotting behind the two Inks.

"Sorry, Merr...I'll s-stay here a few minutes..." InkJR sighed, lying down again with a whine of pain. He started pawing at the knife to try and get it out, but it didn't work. He tried again, this time using both of his paws to slowly pull it. Suddenly he yanked it and it quickly came out...But this had opened the hole in his skull that would now leave him with major brain damage...The pup looked at the bloody knife for a few moments, then flopped over and went unconscious...

Merr whined and picked InkJr up by the scruff, placing him also on his back, with Yara. "Great... Thanks guys." He slowed his pace, using his nose to guide him to the human they were talking about. At least, the scent was human anyway, he thought it was her... Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.

"Is everything alright?" Ink asked, pricking his ears. "Are we near the Shadow Pack camp?" He was heading in the right direction, but he bumped in to another tree and went in the other direction, straight in to another big tree. "I'm hopeless, Merr...I can't do anything...Apart from being an expert in walking in to trees and getting stung by jellyfish..."

Merr sighed and grabbed Ink, tossing him onto his back as well. "Oh geesh..." His breathing was awkward, his body weakening. "Please... Someone... help... me..." He summoned up all his strength to keep going, increasing his pace. He was relieved when he saw that the human was indeed Eternity. "Please... help them..." He shook the three off his back and collapsed in a puddle of his blood.
