"A twoleg." Falling Water repeated, eyes narrowing slightly. She shook her dissaproval off quickly. "If you liked it, I guess that's all that matters."

[C a s]

The sandy kit flopped into her nest. "I guess. I wonder if they even miss me."

[Dark Moon]

"I'm sure they do." Falling Water replied comfortingly. "Why wouldn't they?"

[C a s]

"I don't know..." Doe scuffled her paws in the dirt. "They probably wouldn't want a troublesome kit to look after."

[Dark Moon]

"Troublesome!" She scoffed. "If anything it's your brothers who are troublesome. Actually no, they're worse." Falling Water looked at Doe. "Seems to me that you aren't troublesome at all."

[C a s]

"Thanks." Doe looked at her paws. "You should go before you get teased too."

[Dark Moon]

Falling Water gave her a calm nod. "I don't mind being teased. I can handle it. But if you want me to leave, I will." The she cat started walking out of the den.

[C a s]

"You can stay if you want, but I'm just going to sleep." The small kit curled up in her nest. She dreamt of the butterfly she had cared for.

Falling Water paused and looked back at the kit. Her eyes softened at the sight of the sleeping kit. Deciding to stay incase her brothers came back, Falling Water lay down near the entrance.

The tiny insect flew across the sky. It fluttered down, and was stepped on. Doe hurried to get it and carry it to their den. She sat down and cared for it.
The small kit twitched her ears.
