@Wolfin: Thornpaw is accepted. Yes, her mother's story is a bit questionable, but it's passable. Are you going to make Soilpaw as well?
@Mango: Melodykit and Ravenkit could make such an adorable pairing when they're older. ^-^ *squee* I'm excited! He can be her knight in shining armor.
@Wolfie: I think I'll have to call you Cookie now. x3 Yeah, Silver hasn't posted in a while. I'll PM her and if she doesn't show, I'll delete her characters.
Okay, everybody! The chosen cats have been revealed! I think I'm going to give them all special powers if that's okay with you. I'm still slowly working out a plan, but it will be awesome whatever it is! It requires your active participation, and I will be letting the tight reins I've been holding on this roleplay slack a bit. That means more of your ideas and more about your characters. Previous to this, it was more like a messy novel than a roleplay. It probably would have made a better book. x.x Anyway, I hope you are as excited as I am! ^-^)
Gathering
Earthpaw anxiously listened to the medicine cat above him on the Highbranch, head darting in all different directions, looking for the cats that had been called. His green eyes were wide with excitement, never having witnessed such an occurance in his short lifetime. Part of him wished for his own name to be called, but that small fragment of a dream was nothing next to the crushing weight of reality. He would be useless in defeating DarkClan. The striped apprentice looked at the ground for a moment and was reminded of the strange occurance at the Battle of the Eclipse. Brightpaw had...done something amazingly powerful. Maybe it had all been StarClan, the tom didn't really care. The beautiful SunClan apprentice had sent the crackling energy surging through him, and it had been released as a massive earthquake. He had been a part of sending all of DarkClan running for the hills. A small smile crept back onto Earthpaw's face, and he looked back up, searching for a glance of Brightpaw at the base of the Centertree. There she was, the medicine cat apprentice's pale figure even more breathtaking under the moon. She seemed to glow under the shimmery beams of soft, silver light. Earthpaw barely felt his mouth curve upward into a silly grin. Then another cat rose, blocking his view of his beloved Brightpaw. The dark brown tom turned his head sullenly back to the Highbranch. An apprentice now came forward, stepping briefly in front of Heathersong. Although the distance between them was great, Earthpaw detected something strange about her. Everything around the LeafClan apprentice seemed to emanate sorrow and darkness. It was a bit unnerving. It was also very intriguing. Earthpaw felt himself drawn to the mysterious apprentice by no will of his own. As he stared up at her dark form, he wondered if she could see him, standing above the multitude of clan cats. To his dismay, she disappeared as quickly as she had arrived. The tabby tom shook his head to clear it from her intoxicating presence. If his name had been called, too bad. He hadn't heard a thing.(Erm, I have to go now. Nuuu! I'll try to come back tomorrow and post Nightfall, Ashfeather, and Heathersong. Earthpaw is at an interesting position that I only noticed as I was writing. Brightpaw is all shimmery happiness, while Stormpaw is dark sorrow. Even their pelts are extremely contrasting. I wonder which one he'll choose...)
