He scampered over in the direction where Rowan pointed. "Hello, Drexel", he beamed,"I'm Nimbus and I'm looking for a job as a Lookout. I've heard you were the leader so...Can I join the herd? I've traveled a long distance to get here."

"Of course." He nodded. "Rowan and Sparks are over at the lookout post, if you want to get over there. But you can socialize too." He squeaked, his whiskers twitching.

"Ok thanks", he chattered before scurrying to the lookout post. Again, he found himself grooming the sections on his head. A bit of grass and dirt clumped on to his pelt from running, so he cleaned them out hastily. Finally, he put his focus on the other pigs that were nearby. "I have a question...", he began,"What kind of predators are common here?"

She eyed the new pig. "Hawks, mostly. If you go to the edges of the meadow, you'll find foxes, and the occasional wolf." His grooming made her feel self-conscious, so she groomed her long fur a bit too.

"W-wolves?!", he exclaimed,"T-they're horrible creatures, I've lost my whole f-family to a pack of wolves..." He tried to hold back the tears. Painful memories flooded back to him.

"Don't worry, they never go in the meadow, and they're pretty rare." She assured him, her brown eyes widening. "If you meet one, it would be a very unique occasion."
