Saint Laurent's Night.
In the night between 9th and 10th August, it happens a particular phenomenon: stars fall. Like rain. Actually, there is a scientific theory about this, but who cares? It's wonderful to see.
In this night, everyone makes a wish, hoping that the stars will fulfill it.

But what happens if the wish is granted, really?
Some people asks strange and odd wishes, that normally cannot be granted, like fly or be invisible. Or, who knows... the death of someone?
This time, something travels with the stars in the dark space: magic powder. Coming from a very distant world, it is able to fulfill wishes, letting something new and incredible happen.

Ten teenagers, five girl and five boys, saw their wish came true. Up on the hill of Greenville, North Carolina, they rised their eyes and gazed at the sky, trying to catch a shooting star. When that happened they closed tightly the eyes and made a wish. But when they reopened them... puff! Wish granted.
They will have to hide their new powers and abilities, for their good... and the other inhabitants too.

What will the teens do? Will they accept their new abilities and, or, powers? Or will they regret them?

The basics-- This is Laura Marie Pope. The name is simple, and it's origin is simple, too. It was her great-great-great grandmothers name. She is eighteen years old, being born December 5th. In case you could not tell, Laura is in fact female.

Personality-- Laura is definitely a dreamer. Her head is in the clouds, up where anything can happen. She isn't very social, either. If you try to talk to her, she'll listen, but she'd rather be doing something creative, such as drawing, writing, or reading.

Looks-- Her hair is thick and black, falling just past her shoulders and curling slightly. She has light blue eyes. She usually wears mascara and a little bit of eye shadow and eyeliner, but doesn't care to much for applying make up. Her outfits usually consist or either shorts or jeans, sneakers, and a tee-shirt or tank.

The wish-- Laura wished to be able to control ice. She was -of course- thinking of the movie frozen when she chose this, but it was mostly because she has always loved winter. But every gift comes with a price. Her powers can not be used automatically and she needs to have energy to use them. They also draw away her energy. When she gets angry or upset, ice might randomly start to form nearby (icicles, water freezing, etc.)

sara hasn't had the worst life. But not the best,she grew up in a house with five older sisters and five older brothers she was the youngest of eleven children she was always shunned and pushed away, most time was spent in her room on her computer. she kept food in her room as well, she she stayed in her room most of the time.their family wasn't the closest family in the world, most of them stayed to them selves.after a whole year of it their parents got mad and decided they needed a family vacation, everyone was mad and didn't want to go. Sara didn't care really..she wanted a relationship with her siblings.they had gone to California they all had a great time and learned new things.when they were going to leave, some had become attached to the place and wanted to stay.her parents didn't really care it was less mouths to feed so when they left they only left with five kids, including Sara.sara became down, because her favorite sister stayed. when they got back home their normal lives returned,but Sara grew rebellious and did things she shouldn't have done. After a few years she gave up, and decided to move to Brooklyn where she met a lot of kind people, but some mean as well. Either way she loves Brooklyn and will always remember home, she know lives in Greenville north Carolina. one night she made a wish... And her life changed. Forever.
