Carmen nodded, and clenched her fists. She's rather be in a different state than be around all these cops. Cops always made her nervous, even though she was friends with the highest police brat there is. She shook her head and leaned against Jacob.

I kept her as calm as i could explaining everything to the police and they let her off the hook thanks to the loopholes i found getting around it all

Carmen let out a sigh of releif. "You're my lawyer for now on. I'm sure I'll do something illegal again sometime." She muttered, and one of the officers, who seemed obviously intent on putting her in jail, glared at her as he passed. Carmen smirked, and stuck her tounge out at him.

"Come on baby lets get inside before you catch something" I said softly and led her back in as her brother was being wheeled out on a stretcher to the ambulance

Carmen closed her eyes, and wrapped her arms around Jacob's. "I feel sick anyway." She sighed, as they entered the house. "I need to lie down, before I faint." She said, and held Jacob's arm tighter, as to keep herself from falling.

I held her up by her waist and took her to the couch being the closest thing. "Here lay down" I said helping her do that. "You want anything?" I asked

Carmen put her arm over her face and sighed, "A new family if thats in your power. But if you can't make that happen, then some asprin would be nice." She muttered.

"Im giving you a second family...my family. Only 2 people to worry about but they wont get anywhere near here" I said and headed to the kitchen to get her some asprin and came back with a nice cold water bottle

Carmen smiled and sat up to take the asprin, "I never thought of it that way actually." She said, sitting her glass of water down. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Ugh...what I wouldn't do for a glass of Vodka right now." She said, and layed back down on the couch. "My mind is so messed up.''
