they aren't here for the carnival.
a gang of young adults, eight in which to be exact, got themselves wrapped
up into something they definitely shouldn't have. car jacking, the most famous
form of thievery in harkey, new mexico. after busting out a few of their
members from jail, the gang wound up upon the united states of america's most
wanted list. no bird likes to be caged, so they fled to a tropical safe haven: rio
de janeiro, brazil. it's time to start a new life.

problem is, there's already a gang in this city, and they aren't willing to let a
bunch of new guys rain on their parade, take over their town. and they have a
good reason. since america's dss give up on their search for the eight refugees,
they've already tried to make their mark, grab ahold as much as they can of the
"territory". they want as much control of this town as they did back home.

there is an all out war going on in rio de janeiro. there are raidings, drive bys,
kidnappings, and car chases amongst the streets of this old yet radiant town.
they aren't here for the carnival.

these gangs don't live anywhere near the tourist side of rio de janeiro, brazil. in
fact, they live in the wall of houses stacked upon one another all along the hills of
this mysterious city, the homes that are made of mere wooden planks and tin
awnings. the area of poverty, its most often referred to as. the native gang all live
in houses stacked atop one another or at least next door; they've lived here their
whole life long enough to establish their homes near each other. the refugee gang
on the other hand are all stuck sharing a small, two bedroom home in the middle of
the wall of homes, a couple blocks or so down the street from the native gang. the
city is often confusing to navigate, considering the streets and tracks of homes are
all jumbled up and thrown about one another randomly.

the carnival is currently going on down by the beach, but they gangs don't often show
up at the beach as often as they do in the jungle, exploring by the falls of rivers.

are already preset on. follow all of nick and tess's rules for this website. the big
ones are: no images in posts ( font meme, gifs, or pictures ), no gary/ mary sues,
and respect others. if you are going on vacation or find that you will be less active
this week than normally, please do not ask to join. you must be able to post at

my literacy level for this roleplay is four paragraphs minimum: highly literate. i am
requesting that each user have two characters, one of each gender and most
preferably, from each gang. it will make things run a lot more smoothly.
if you can only have time for one character, then perhaps you don't have enough
time for this roleplay. if you are a close friend of mine or i owe you one, then i'd
be more than happy to make an exception c: but other than that, just be respectful
of others and have fun!
