Snowshine sighed flicking her tail slightly. She hated that the forest was destroyed by the fire. Her blue eyes had the happiness they had just a few minutes ago.

Goldenpaw pads out of the apprentices den. And pads over to the warriors den and pokes her head in. Her light blue eyes longed around for her mentor. She lived training, even if it was only hunting.

Cedarstar
Cedarstar glanced gently at the nervous she-cat, and answered her carefully. "I don't know, Fawnstep. I can only hope soon." He glanced at his fellow warriors and gathered courage from their warmth. "If we survived, I know that the forest will too." He glanced up at the sky and pointed with his tail to the rising sun. "If the sun comes up everyday, our home will grow again." He smiled lightly and stared kiindly at the she-cat. "Starclan willing, the forest will be rebuilt. We just have to give it time." He turned to the forest and waved his tail. "Everyone who wants to join the hunting party, we're leaving for the marshes now." He wheezed a bit from the smoke, and made his way into the scattered remains of the forest.

Fawnstep
Fawnstep smiled a bit at her leader. "I agree, Cedarstar. Even thouggh the fire came, they protected us for a reason. I think they are protecting us a lot more than some cats think" she flicked her ears, and looked ahead. When he wheezed, she frowned at looked back at him. "Cedarstar, are you ok? Do you want me to fetch you some herbs?" Her face was creased with worry, still looking back at the camp. She hated to see a cat in trouble, and wanted to help him. Looking around, she wondered if any of the other cats noticed him wheezing. Fawstep looked up to starclan, and hoped the best when they were hunting.

Snowshine sighed deeply. She missed seeing a healthy forest and healthy cats. She coughed lightly the ash from the fire had effected her badly. Snowshine looked at the cats in the patrol seeing singed fur and burn marks covering some pelts

-She only listened to the others talk, keeping herself a quiet shadow among the clan. It seemed most of them had been caught up in the smoke of the fire, coughing or missing bits of fur here and there. It was odd how many of them survived mostly unharmed, but they would require treatment for their lungs and throats. Pity.
