for phantom and clock
I hear a stallions whinny somewhere off in the distance, it sounds as if he's calling for mares. Perfect. I gallop in the direction of the sound. I stop for a moment when I think I am close to the sound. I walk the rest of the way out of the forest. I hesitate on the tree line. My ears pricked, eyes wide, searching for any sign of a stallion. I finally find, him, well them actually. There's another mare with him. I snort, I don't get along well with mares, or stallions for that matter. My only friend had been Mask, and that was a long time ago. Well, it's time to meet these two. I whinny to them and trot over to the big palomino stallion and smaller buckskin mare.

Clocky stayed very still obediently as the male approached; she got his message quite clear, and she did not run, for her legs are like jelly and she couldn't move even if there were a hundred galloping stallions running towards her. She submissively kept her head down, and she didn't speak as he nosed her rump; she gently nodded, accepting. She could faintly hear another approaching, but for the moment she stayed still.
