((Man, I really need to get my act together with my role-playing. I'm sorry, N i g h t. ))

She looked towards the destination he had given them. "I'll count us off." She informed him softly before settling herself. She then looked back over to the stallion before she began to count. "One, two, three!" In the last word she took off, carefully of her footing and also making sure she could hopefully get there first.

Upon her cue, Ashenfall kicked his hooves against the ground, moving into a sprint-like gallop. His muscles rippled with the energy he used to propel himself towards the finish. Some of the moss on the ground tore up beneath his hefty hooves as he soared forward, keeping almost level with the mare. She was slightly ahead of him and still gaining ground. 'How is she that fast?' he thought to himself, losing focus in the race slightly. His golden eyes locked onto her for a second, gauging whether or not he'd be able to overtake her. From here he was unsure if he'd be able to do it. His mind settle back into the race and he regained focus, pushing to keep up with the mare, if not move past her.

Rubia:

Stood in the meadow, nibbling on grass as the wind blew her long curly hair. Her ears perked up as she slowly lifted her head up and glanced around.

Clara:

Was tromping through the marshy water, trying to stay away from all the other horses since she didn't really like company. A gator watched from the deeper water, waiting patiently and quietly for the right moment to attack.
