Kameko examined the little tree trinket and a somewhat shy smile played on his lips as he tried to plan out their route in his head. Yes, it would be nice to take the usual route, but hopefully they wouldn't be disturbed. As he tugged on his ankle boots, he tied the laces with almost inhuman speed before he straightened up his back. As he headed out of the door, he was met with the beautiful sight, the trees which appeared to bow and lean over the pathway, their branches intertwining with each other and the gorgeous pink petals littering the streets, making it seem almost surreal, beautiful. Reaching into his bag, Kameko pulled out his camera, snapping a few pictures for later reference before turning around to see the others. His foot tapped impatiently, before a few seconds later he carried on, a spring in his step, something which wasn't unusual for him. He often ended up toddling away from the others like a little kid, but he tried his best not to as last time it happened in a large area, he started to cry when he couldn't find his friends, needless to say, it was embarrassing for everyone.

Action: Checking out bulletin board

Hinata could feel her heart beat wildly as she made her way towards the entrance of Azuba High School. The results of the entrance exam were ready, hanging on the bulletin board inside that building, waiting to be viewed by potential new students of this high school. The thought of her name being on there as well, made Hinata very nervous. What if she didn't pass? Not only would that be a shock for herself, it would be very embarrassing as well, since everyone could see it. Calm down, Hinata. You have always been one of the top students, haven't you? How can you possibly fail this exam? Hinata thought to herself, trying to give herself some confidence. The entrance exam was a piece of cake for her, after all. There was no way she could fail... Right?

Finally, Hinata had reached the entrance of her, most likely, new school, and opened the door with a shaking hand. When she was inside, she looked around her. Inside, the school looked even larger... It was nothing like any of her old schools. As she was originally a girl from the countryside, she had always been going to schools that were much smaller. Letting out a sigh in an attempt to calm her down again, Hinata headed towards the bulletin board, which was nearby the entrance. A group of people were already in front of the board, all excited to see their results. All kind of reactions could be heard; some were sighing out of relief, others were complaining they had failed. When finally the crowd in front of Hinata was cleared, she could check out her own result. Her head felt light and dizzy when she was right in front of the board, and she was almost too afraid to look...

I... I passed! She really passed! It shouldn't have been such a surprise for her, really, but still, she couldn't believe her eyes. A wide smile appeared on her face and a spark appeared in her eyes. She felt so proud of herself. Now she was officially a new student at Azuba High School, and, since she was one of those outstanding, highly intelligent students, a resident of Sakura Dorm. What an honor! And with that, her new life in Kanazawa had begun...

Trailing behind Kameko, Akira put on her leather boots, which were black of course. The day she stopped wearing black would be when science invented a darker color. Tucking her long hair behind her ear, she stood up and walked outside, a hint of a smile on her face as she saw Kameko take a few pictures of the Cherry trees. The shy artist boy was one of her favorite people - he helped her with a lot of aesthetic aspects of technology and coding, and in return she helped with other things like setting up different softwares for him to use for art and whatever else he did. Looking ahead, her steel grey eyes zeroed in on Daiki, walking with a carefree stride under the morning sun, heading towards Azuba. Letting out another sigh, she took Kameko's sleev and dragged him along behind her, stopping him from his picture taking montage. "Let's go before Daiki starts nagging us again," she rolled her eyes for emphasis. For the most part, Akira was indifferent to many things, whether school or people, but her friends at Sakura were more important - they garnered a lot more emotion. She could only hope that the newcomers wouldn't pose any irritation for her. After a while of walking past the shadowed neighborhoods with Sakura blossoms filling the air, they turned up a hill to the High School. Seeing as they made it at 7:56am, there was a huge crowd of students by the bulletin board. Oh right, they were all checking their entrance scores for the school. It didn't really mean anything to her - she and the other three with her were all child prodigies and had had no trouble entering the school. Besides, all four of them were in the same classes anyways, seeing as they shared the same homeroom group. Sakura Dorm residents were typically grouped together. Akira trudged up the hill with the other three students and headed towards the crowd. A few regular students whispered as the group walked by, talking about what else but their intelligence. "How shallow," she commented, giving them a look that spelled indifference. They hurried off.

When the Sakura Dorm residents arrived at the hill leading up to Azuba High School, he breathed quietly, stifling his panting. Really, he needed to get fitter. Sitting in his room or in the kitchen looking and studying gears wasn't going to make his body fitter. Nevertheless, the last few yards up to the school and they would be there for 7 more hours. He sighed, seeing the regular students notice them. Honestly, what was the deal with people? It's not like they were completely mutated. Being ostracized for one's own intelligence is about the stupidest thing society could do. But, the students at Azuba did it anyway, and the Sakura students were used to it by now. They parted for them as the group walked up to the bulletin board, taking an interest in who was making it. Daiki had a few childhood friends that tried applying for the High School, but he couldn't see their names. Tough luck, he thought to himself. Taking it as his own responsibility, he looked around for students that were going to be in Sakura Dorm. "Hey guys, why don't you look around for our newbies? They should be here somewhere - four people." He looked down at his watch. 7:58am. Two minutes until the bell rang and they would all have to class. It was an unspoken fact that all Sakura Dorm residents were always grouped in the same classes, and this would no doubt include the newcomers. If they couldn't find the newbies now, they would definitely be in their homeroom, along with a few other regular students. He noticed a brown-haired girl that was standing at the bulletin board. He widened his eyes a bit. She's really pretty...it would be quite coincidental if she was one of the newbies. He smiled a bit to himself and looked at Akira, who was staring blankly around her. Good grief. That girl really was in her own world. Just now she had shooed off a couple girls whispering about them. Her harsh bluntness might be a problem, but they would all get over that eventually. He hoped. Going up to the girl, he tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey, are you registered as a Sakura Dorm student?" he asked kindly, hoping for the best.

"I have something bigger planned for the new student, Akira. That was just a refresher." With the trees blossoming it felt so new in a way, like being the first to part the waters in a completely calm like. The breezy air didn't seem to bother her as much, when she didn't live in Kanazawa, she was held in the occupation of a much more frosty terrain and climate. It made her giggle seeing Kameko trudge off with his quality camera, lighting effects addition added by yours truly. If only the weather could stay like this all the time, a warm day with a cool breeze, nothing to baffle at, it's some of the best weather she'd been awake and conscious to feel in a certain time. A small chuckle came from her when spotting Akira drag the artist away from getting lost in his photography.
Closing into the large school she huffed seeing the other students who seemed to huddle together, glaring at them occasionally. For the three years she's been here, it was never so easy to shrug off the looks, after three continuous years... Or at least when she was tired it was easier. Kaede shrunk in a bit and moved from her position of the outside of the ground to beside Akira, who was more than professional to shrug it off. It was confusing to her how people would be so hostile to those who are smarter or more talented, like it was intimidating to them. Whilst walking to the flood bulletin board, their prodigy selves could part them like Moses. Looking to see the results, there were a small 4 couple of students in the lower part of the lists, names read off: Hiyashi, Chikako. Inihara, Hinata. Ueda, Miki and Yamate, Kaoru. Posting their professions of advancement, Dance, Science, Writing, and Music. God dangit. Kameko is going to go insane over these kids. Kameko was always passionate about art and different kinds of it, even though he couldn't really do them but the Illustrations part, so he would have a ball with Ms. Dance and Mr.Music here. With a loud sound of brakes and a large blue and white striped bus, she turned around to see another load of students flood into the school.

With the bus arriving, he quickly jumped on to sit to the closest seat to the door. He hated taking the bus due to it's very uncivil characters in them, yet this was different, everyone knew who he was. He tried ignoring the voices but with nothing to really occupy him from not, it was forceful. The bus ride seemingly took forever of Miki looking in a unnatural 90 degree head turn to act like he wasn't focused on the other students that flooded the bus. As soon as the guy behind the microphone on the bus called that they have arrived to Sakura, the writer was already out of his seat and at the door to leave, being at the front, he was the first to be staged to get off the bus anyways. Miki speed walked to the bulletin after just barely seeing "Ueda" on the "Accepted Advancements" before being subtlety pushed aside by a brunette looking over the lists herself. Not wanting to create anymore problems, Miki backed off before becoming giddy as crap, he was accepted! He quickly, after spotting a nice comfortable space to write in and swiftly wrote 8 words down after his update at the bus stop. 'I have passed! My life at Sakura begins!'

(I apologize for my long first post, everyone; I'll take into account the quality over quantity rule from now on ^^". In case anyone wants to skip it over, it's pretty much Kaoru struggling to get to the board, seeing he passed, and then overhearing Daiki ask Hinata about whether or not she was a Sakura Dorm student, which leads to him questioning him about whether he's a student himself.)

Step. Step. Avoid colliding with the black haired girl with the green bag. Step. Move out of the way of a large blonde guy shoving people out of his path, with his friends trailing behind him and giving him (and everyone else, pretty much) the stink eye. Try to not stumble as someone accidentally bumped into him from behind. Ah... Has it been long enough yet to regret my decisions? There weren't many things that came as a surprise to the young and intelligent Kaoru Yamate; a fact that stood in a very stark contrast to how this seemingly fine morning had gone. Did the teen think he would have slept through his purposefully early alarm, only to be woken up when his hand had somehow unconsciously hit the piano by the desk he had fallen asleep at? Most definitely not. Had he considered that stopping to eat breakfast before leaving would hinder his progress to Azuba High School so greatly? It hadn't occurred to his growling stomach at the time. Was most of this a result of staying up late the previous night, trying to finish a piece he had been writing for a few days already, due to the fact that he was positive he wouldn't remember the melody the next morning? More likely than not. Why are there so many people still here, anyway? I was sure everyone would be heading to class by now... The brunet had been struggling to fight his way through the thick swarm of students gathered at the bulletin board for at least a full minute now, without a doubt. Or, that is, if it was considered "fighting" to attempt to carefully navigate his way through, and then to apologize profusely to anyone he so much as came into contact with. It was at times like these that Kaoru wondered how his life would have been if he was a regular student, who didn't stay up long past midnight practicing multiple instruments, or testing out how this harmony would go in that key before writing his results down on a piece of staff paper. It sounded easier, he would usually think when the question popped into his mind once more. But also much, much more dull.

Seeing a spot right in front of the board free up, his amber eyes narrowed as he immediately bolted to it, at last within viewing range of his results for the entrance exams. Letting out a minuscule exhale, he relaxed his tense posture, stuffing his hands into the large pockets of his dark blue jacket. His still mildly tired gaze scanned the first results, known as the ones that belonged to the top-ranking students, while he simultaneously did his best to stifle a yawn he felt coming up. Truly, it wasn't even worth the trouble he went through to get to the board itself, in his opinion. It wasn't even required of him to keep a fleeting feeling of nervousness at bay, because he was without a doubt somewhere up there. His grades should speak for themselves, and he hadn't run into any obstacles during the testing procedure. Then, a small smile found it's way to his mouth, and he tilted his head back for a moment to stare at the ceiling serenely. Just as he had thought: there it was, his name, right at the top, along with three other students'. I really made it, didn't I? And this means that I should be getting into the Sakura Dorm program that was mentioned... Maybe this is worth it, after all. Now all that was left to do was get to class, he believed, but something caught his attention before he started walking off. Someone was inquiring to who he assumed was another student, a brunette girl, about whether or not she was registered at the Sakura Dorm. Was this guy one of its current residents? Glancing quickly around, he immediately noticed that the previous crowd had dissipated into smaller groups that were avoiding the man and the other people with him like they were carrying some kind of incredibly infectious desease. Well, that definitely singled them out. "Um, excuse me, I'm horribly sorry for intruding on your conversation, but are you a Sakura Dorm student?" he asked curiously, remaining as respectful and polite as he could while interrupting his conversation with the girl.

Still staring at her exam result, Hinata suddenly felt a light tap on her shoulders. She could feel her body shake from shock, a stranger actually touched her shoulder! The brown-haired girl swiftly turned around to face the person. It was a guy, short, jet black hair, and pretty, green eyes. Behind him, she saw a girl with long, black hair, another girl with brown hair, and a guy with longish black hair, they seemed to be part of his group, judging from their behavior. Ignoring the other students, Hinata then stared at the guy with the green eyes. She looked at his mouth open and close as he spoke, but the fact that someone was actually talking to her, was too overwhelming for her to actually concentrate on the words that were being spoken. She could slightly hear the term 'Sakura Dorm', so she just assumed he was asking her if she was one of it's residents. Hinata nodded, while she adjusted her glasses by softly tapping the middle of the frame. Then she began to blush and tried to avoid eye-contact, so she decided to stare at the nearby ground instead. He was going to laugh at her for being one of those, wasn't he? Before the guy in front of her could respond, their conversation was interrupted by yet another person, a boy with dark brown hair this time, who asked the exact same question. Once again, all Hinata did was nodding to confirm his question, as she was too overwhelmed by the amount of social interaction to speak properly.

Seriously. For the most part, Akira didn't particularly care about other people, but when they started being shallow and irritating, she just got irritated. Very irritated. Some people she met had large amounts of patience, their forbearance admirable. However, she didn't really have that kind of persistence and when people got irrationally worked up for no reason (for example, over the Sakura Dorm students), it was just ridiculous. Turning away from the dissipating groups of gossiping girls and gawking guys, she saw Daiki talking to a pretty brown-haired girl and another boy donned with a crown of dark brown hair. She would let Daiki do all the talking - he was good like that. She was there for studying and focusing on her passion (even if it might sometimes lead her to illegal activity like breaking into the school's database). In fact, she already knew the names of the two people asking her friend about Sakura, along with all their data and statistics. Without thinking, she took a step forward, looking at each of them. "Hinata Inihara, aged 15 and specialist in the science area of life. Kaoru Yamate, successful musician, especially with the piano and the flute. Aged 15 as well. Both of you are in Sakura," she added, saving Daiki the trouble of talking. If they were going to be the newcomers, might as well, right? She would probably get a scolding from Daiki or Kaede later for being so blunt. Looking at her violet watch, she glanced up at the window of their homeroom. "We're going to be late," she said, staring pointedly at Daiki, who just had to make a conversation with the pretty new girl. She looked over at Kaede and Kameko, nudging them. "I bet 10 yen he falls for Hinata," she whispered so that the other three couldn't hear her. A small amused smile playing upon her lips.

Daiki smiled kindly at the girl - she was shy and that was cute. Really cute. He felt his face heat up a bit and he cleared his throat, trying to look more coolly friendly than overly interested. She didn't say much, did she? Almost the opposite of Daiki, who loved to fraternize with everything and everyone under the sun. Once, got so excited over meeting someone new that he accidentally broke one of Kaede's little toy inventions. That hadn't gone down well, and he still shuddered over how angry the Inventor had gotten. Nevetheless, he was still pretty close to Kaede. He was about the answer the dark-haired boy's question, when Akira interrupted him. He sighed inwardly. Of course. Brace yourselves for the great Akira Kazuho, the rude, blunt genius hacker. Geez. "Don't worry about her, she's a bit blunt," he said to the both of them. Yeah, all four of us are Sakura Dorm students." As Daiki said that, he heard another faint noise, spoken by someone nearby. A male. Turning his head over to the right, he saw a boy writing, on a bench. Turning his head over, he spotted the words Miki Ueda on the front cover. Ah, a writer. Glancing up again at the list, Miki Ueda was on the same list as Hinata and Kaoru. "Hey!" the black-haired boy called to the writer. "You're Miki Ueda, aren't you? Sakura student?" He waved him over, knowing his answer to that. Unless he was a thief and he so happened to like stealing notebooks, he would be none other than another newcomer to Sakura. The newcomers always had the top scores, which immediately placed them into the Sakura Dorm programme. Which included being surrounded by weirdoes, like Daiki had (especially Kaede, but that was only humorous. They got along famously). Hearing Akira mention the time, he nodded briskly. "We should be heading in now," he said to all of them, including Miki. He headed in, beckoning for the newbies to come along. Akira and the rest of the current Dorm residents trailed behind him, all heading to their shoe lockers to change their footwear. Their homeroom was on the third floor, and they currently had one minute to get up there.

Eyes focused on his fellow Sakura Dorm students, he waved at them."Hey."He greeted quietly, and when he was nudged by Akira, a smile appeared on his face."Well, I don't think he will. Kaoru shifted a bit uncomfortably as he noticed the small bubble of space the other students were creating around Hinata, the dark haired boy who had approached her, and himself. One part of him wondered if Sakura students had to deal with this kind of isolation from their peers all the time, while another inwardly thought that this kind of room to move would have been much more useful earlier. The part of his mind whining about the missed opportunity, though, was cut off when he got a response not from the boy in front of him, but rather a girl who stepped up next to him with equally jet black hair. He stared at her the whole time she rattled off who he and the girl, apparently named Hinata, were like it was nothing. Well, consider him most definitely impressed, bluntness of the statement aside. The girl was an interesting one, for sure. "Ah, it's no trouble. I guess there are really are some diverse types of people at Sakura, huh?" he asked, dismissing the guy's worrying with a small smile and giving a half wave to the three confirmed other Sakura Dorm residents, his gaze lingering on the girl who had spoken curiously. He watched as the last of their group, a writer, if his notebook was an indicator of anything, was summoned by who appeared to be the most talkative of the group. Meanwhile, yet another guy with dark hair- this time, it sat framing his head in long strands -introduced himself to Hinata and the the amber eyed teen as Kameko, an artist. While he was confused for a second about the double handshake, in the next he grabbed hold of the extended palm and shook it gently, yet what he hoped was firmly. "Pleasure to meet you, Kameko. I look forward to seeing some of your works," he stated earnestly, not bothering to state his name as Akira had done so for him earlier. When the prospect of being late was brought up, Kaoru snapped to attention and realized the seriousness of the situation. Being late on the first day was not one of his goals, and with wide eyes he followed Daiki into the building.
