I appreciated the hag Katie gave me so I hugged her back. We hugged for five minutes, then I looked at my phone and the time read 4;40 pm. "We better get heading off then" I said as I stood up straight and managed a smile- still fighting back the tears-- something I learned to do when I was at school otherwise all of my classrooms would be flooded- with my tears about my mum and Trish. Luckily the skill is handy to me now too. I put my video recorder back into my bag and headed off with Katie to her house.

"ok" Katie said backing up some.Kate grabbed her keys and unlocked her house door and walked in hand got her suit case.

I followed Katie onto her house. She got her suitcase and approached me again. "Do you know where this house is?" I asked Katie as I had absolutely no idea. It felt good to be back inside somewhere warm even just for a few minutes as it was freezing outside- even more so as I was bare chested.

Katie grabbed a hoodie off her couch "heres you shirt and heres a hoodie you can wear if you want" Katie said smiling " And I think its in south Carolina" Katie said looking at the paper. It only takes about 30 minutes to get there " And we can take my car" Katie said grabbing her car keys

"Oh OK" I said as I put my shirt back on and this time I did up the buttons. "I don't need your hoodie- I'm fine" I said to Katie as I went to rub my eyes- realising I still had my glasses on. I ended up bashing my nose by accident. I didn't realise until I got into Katie's car that my nose was bleeding, and actually my hand and pretty much everywhere. I don't remember much more about that night. Just that there was blood everywhere.

"ok" Katie said shutting the door and getting in the car. "their is some napkins in the dash board" Katie said putting the key in the ignition and starting the car up.

I felt my head bash onto the dashboard- blood now covering most of my face- and my glasses. Surly I must of looked dead, but I wasn't, just covered in blood and unconscious.the last thing I could make out was Katie saying there was napkins in the dashboard, other than that, everything else was a blur.

Katie left the car in parked and she got out and ran over to the passenger seat. "Are you ok?" Katie said getting some napkins and putting it on Dans nose.

As my face was covered with blood I could not see who the voice was, but it sounded kind and gentle. "I, I-" I began to speak, but I thought carefully about what I was to say, as this may be a total stranger "w-who is this?" I stammered as I felt for my glasses which had fell to the floor. I rubbed my eyes, but that didn't help. Soon I felt a warm hand brush against my cheek. I smiled as it somewhat comforted me, and my nose was being wiped by this gentle voice. I grabbed my sleeve and rubbed it against my eyes. At least I could see, but it didn't help that I couldn't see anything without my glasses, however without them, I managed to see roughly who was the 'gentle voice' and not quite to my surprise they looked a LOT like Katie, but I couldn't be sure without my glasses.

"Katie" Katie said. Katie grabbed dans glasses, wiped them off then handed them to Dan so he could see. Katie continued to wipe the blood from dans face.
